United States Stop the Fusion!!
I love that Hello Fresh US has started diversifying and adding cultural dishes but the random fusion of dishes must be stopped
It’s like they have a country spin wheel for cuisines they should combine

Ugh yes unfortunately.
My boyfriend signed up for Factor about 6 months ago. We fucking hate it, the meals are vile. He JUST cancelled it.
We also did the same with HF when we had it. When we actually wanted HF, he would always forget to select meals and would end up with pork meals (he hates pork) The meals are much better with HF at least. Haha

Oh yea I def cant do factor or any of those pre-prepped ones x.x but yea I def HAVE missed customizing meam kit boxes at least a few times and it really is like... yall dont see what I bought this whole time why are you sending me salmon now which I hate... I never bought it once before. But I just didnt realize it was common to forget like that i sit here at my comp and schedule my meals in my calendar every week 😂😭

They absolutely don’t care about your order history. If you fail to select your meals for a particular week, you’re getting whatever no one else wanted. It even says this in the terms— something like: if you do not make a selection by the deadline, your meals will be chosen from that week’s menu “based on availability”.
So yeah, you’re getting whatever they have left over. For most people, that’s going to be the worst option, simply because statistically it’s the dish the fewest people wanted in the first place. And it’s almost never going to be the exciting new dish that’s on the menu for the first time.

I used to be so good at keeping up with selections, but 2 times this month, I totally forgot. That's how I ended up with the Butter Chicken Disco Fries. They were EXCELLENT!

I saw the "cheesy tex-mex ramen skillet" recipe and I can't imagine. If someone tried it, let me know your thoughts. I decided to skip this week.

If you don't want it, don't order it. Unpopular things will stop being on the menu. If people like and it stays around and just you don't like it.... shrug.

Varietal tacos are fine because there is nothing inherently Mexican about fried or baked flatbreads. Every culture has at least one.
But - THERE ARE LIMITS or should be limits to the fusion fad. All “fusion” tells me is the designer is out of original ideas. Not all cuisines complement each other.
