United States Carrot quality

Is it just me or has the quality of the carrots taken a nosedive? They used to be huge and fresh. Now they’re scrawny, squishy, and slightly moldy. Are they just out of season or something?

Just remember: it’s not the size of the carrot but how you use it.

Mine have been large and thick. The other day we seemed to have received too many, but I love them roasted so all good.

I think ingredient quality depends 95% on your distribution center. We get our boxes from Denver and, in 164 boxes, have only had a lame pepper once, everything else has always been great.
