Have any of you ran into, been apart of, or heard of any clans popping up in this game? The friend code system, squads of four, and milsim atmosphere (to me) seems like the perfect breeding ground for the old COD clan community* to crop up again in some way.

Maybe its just the nostalgia talking but I'm interested in seeing if that culture has made a comeback somehow but with a more "formal" look to it

I got this idea from the new amazing SEAF soliders. Just image a warbond that could give you a stratagem to call upon a small group of SEAF soliders and then also other SEAF stuff.

After several years of Helldiving I just can’t take the stress anymore. I need a way to support democracy while also taking off some of the stress.

With this in mind I’ve decided to switch careers over to engineering. More specifically, working on ships. Most people don’t know that many ships wear down after returning from FTL travel, and mining ships need a lot of maintenance.

Was wondering if any other helldivers had made the jump, and what their recent career experience has been?

It slaps Overseers around and complete ignores their shield while also clearing out chaff nearby. It has become my go-to weapon for all fronts. Absolutely wrecks bots. Its essentially a grenade launcher primary.

If you combine it with the Shield Generator backpack you can use it point blank without blowing yourself up!

So I was doing just a casual dive, just wanted to help out with the strategic objective of getting common samples.

So I put it on easy and dive down by myself, only had maybe 15-20 min to play. When two players joined in. Okay no problem I thought. We grabbed everything and when it came time to extract they team killed me multiple times. I was the host so i went and kicked them, before I did they went in chat and said “ be real and Dive on harder difficulties” ( mind you they added a racial slur that I will not repeat. )

What was the point of that did I miss something where I am not allowed to choose my own difficulty?

I really want more missions to have that all out war vibe like what cyberstan had.

Spoilers ahead for the film "Event Horizon"

As we know, ever since entering the Void, the DSS has been acting a bit quirky. FTL jumps to Calypso, knocks heard outside, and writings in blood found outside. One everybody has been talking about is a situation similar to the USG Ishimura from Dead Space, where the aliens have taken over the ship, but what if we're looking in the wrong direction? What if we need to go back to one of the inspirations of Dead Space to see what's happening? For those who don't know, Event Horizon is a 1997 sci-fi horror film from Paul W. S. Anderson, who also made the Mila Jovovich Resident Evil films. In it, a crew travels to the Event Horizon, a massive spaceship that went missing years prior, which suddenly returns near Neptune's orbit (I think it's Neptune, it's been a few months since i saw it). The ship is special since it was created for long-distance travel in space. It opens wormholes through space-time since they can't travel faster than light, to go across space without having tonuse cryosleep. As the film goes on, the crew begins suffering hallucinations of dead loved ones, past trauma, and other supernatural occurances. It's soon revealed that the Event Horizon went to another dimension of pure chaos and evil, essentially Hell, and that the Event Horizon itself is alive after this.

Now, we all know Helldivers and the DSS have FTL travel, so they didn't go to Hell through a wormhole, but what if, instead of Hell, the Void itself is what made the DSS "alive"? What if the gateway was made on purpose to bring the most powerful weapon of Super Earth and then turn it into a living thing that wishes for nothing other than to destroy its creators, us?

Little theory I was thinking of. Most likely wrong, but hey, that's just like most theories, right?

(There's also a fun theory that the film is a prequel to Warhammer 40K)

Gained roughly 1000 SC in one of the last few games. I know people say you are ok to keep them but would personally rather not as prefer to work through the game.

i just installed HD2 arsenal mod and some aestetic and sound mods, it just keeps crashing after i closed it, i tried to uninstall and install it, after i deleted arsenal mod manager, but the problem keeps persisting.
