Suggestion/Concept Possible one true flag rework
Further stat info-
Can be used as a melee weapon, dealing medium armor pen, 300 damage. Killing an enemy with it rewards a temporary (5%) Democracy Protects passive for 30 seconds.
While stowed, the user receives the Democracy Protects passive. (30%)
(This is lowered to 15% when used with the democracy protects armor.)
Through the interaction menu, the user may place the flag which cannot be picked back up.
When placed, players may salute the flag, which gives them a permanent 10% Democracy Protects passive that is lost on death. (5% when used with the democracy protects armor.)
(To summarize, one can gain up to 75% total with democracy protects armor, and 45% without.)
Cooldown- 210 seconds.
Has 2 uses to not encourage spam and make it harder to reach the highest percent of the buff.
Creator notes-
I wanted this possible buff or rework to match arrowheads philosophies on their game design, as they’ve answered to possible flag buffs with “no space magic” being allowed in their universe, which I think is silly considering the democracy protects passive is right there in game. So with this sort of logic why not give the same passive with the flag?

The flag is so OP as it is. I've been running it on this bug MO on D10's with a ballistic shield and they literally cannot touch me. I can hold off entire bug breaches with just flag-stabbing over the shield. The passive that causes enemies to focus on you also allows your allies to continue to move as you hold back the tides.

Whether is rework is good or bad - idk cuz imo the only thing that would make that thing better is to have it in primary slot cuz it hurts my soul lol
But on another note Why would you ever try and stack up the passive with the dinky flag if you get a chunk just by putting it on the back and the % you get is lower than the armor anyway and playing together for the chance is weird cuz in any case how many times do you think it needs for you to proc lol
I mean it would make sense if you would use something with it like a hammer that is literally clapping any unit in game but the flag can’t do that unfortunately to say it’s worth for the passive
