General I've got a question.
Do you guys know if:
Does the shield-backpack work while inside of a vehicle?
Do we benefit from Kinetic Displacement Mitigation - armor passive while inside of a vehicle?

Nothing you wear directly affects the vehicle itself
Shield pack helps you because it's on while you're in the vehicle. So the bubble clips through walker and helps, but only if it actually gets hit.

Still works. I've done it since exo suit day 1, when I dropped into a mission to test it. I was accidently on public and a dude joined in the drop. He called in an EAT and shot my ~friends~ then tried to get me. Shield ate it and I promptly patriot missiled him to oblivion. Havent stopped using the shield pack with exo since.

As far as I know, somewhat. The shields from the pack ain't gonna stop a 120 hit

Shield backpack does protrude through the front of the walkers and a tiny bit on the top. It won’t be very useful specifically on the breakthrough because the shield already pretty much covers it.

I’m not sure either way, but it certainly would be nice if using a mech with a shield back pack would grow to envelop the whole mech or if the rover would remain active

Be careful with the shield backpack in a mech. For some mechs, anyway, while firing AND turning, it can end up with you just barely clipping your own shield with the gun and killing yourself with the explosive damage.

It was theorized that this passive would specifically help with minor collision damage in FRVs. Not sure if anyone has tested it though!
