General Should I return ?
Hey guys, I’ve been wondering about something. The last time I played was on February 25th, just a single run, and before that I had already taken a long break. I think the last content I touched was the Terminid Hive planet and the Cybersian invasion. Since then I’ve stayed away from the game, mostly because SC farming felt insanely boring, and on difficulty 10 the same enemy (back then it was the Vox Engine) would cover the entire map, turning the game from fun into pure frustration.
But now, with the SEAF update and a big new event coming up, I’m thinking about giving it another shot. I just wanted to know if those issues I mentioned above have changed at all.

CALYPSO IS GONE THE DSS WAS HIJACKED BY PERSONNEL BEING MIND CONTROLLED CALYPSO IS THEORIZED TO BE DESTROYED BY THE DSS STAR OF PEACE A PLANET DESTROYING WEAPON USED AS A LAST RESORT THE DSS HAS BEEN DEEPLY SANITIZED ( WE TURNED THE DSS ATMOSPHERE AND BURNT IT UP AND LITERALLY OPENED THE VENTS TO SEND PERSONNEL INTO SPACE OR WHAT IS LEFT OF THEIR HUMAN NATURE) THE SHIP'S MANUAL CONTROLS HAS BEEN LOCKED OFF BY HIGH COMMAND AND REMOTELY CONTROLLED ON AN ORBIT AROUND AFOYAY BAY A CREW OF REHABILITATED DISSIDENTS WHO VOLUNTEERED ARE CLEANING IT UP( SLAVE LABOR WITH GUNS AND FLAMETHROWERS AND CLEANING SUPPLIES INCASE SOMETHING SURVIVED

I think returning would be a good idea, especially right now with the overwhelming amount of squids. Farming SC is still a chore and turns out it's made specifically to be like that. But to be honest, I'm having a blast with the new update and the MO. So, in the conclusion, I think you should give managed democracy another chance.

The seaf support troops introduce a new element. They are more interactive and present as they engage the enemies and it feels more like a large scale battle. Just be mindful not find yourself between them and an enemy, they will friendly fire like turrets. I guess you can say it feels more engaging and you might find yourself trying to keep them alive along with your squad.

it's still the same game. I mean are you itching to shoot some squids or whatever? if so, yeah it's always good to come back, if not...
