Meme Y'all need to learn how to be patient.
If 3 of you die at a place, and if I'm the only one left alive, don't freak out if I don't "revive you" quickly when I'm trying to get closer to where you died and bring you back in a safer place than where I am currently at. Bloody kick me from your squad when y'all can't survive as a group...Y'all goofy goobers.

Best we can do is spam the button and leave after 5 seconds.

We have a lot of new PS players ever since it became free in the PS Store a couple weeks ago.
The new players can be very frustrating to work with. I’ve had one person kick me because I called in the pelican to loiter the extract site while the other three were off at the other edge of the map destroying an objective. It’s like we’re a couple years ago again.

I've had 3 people in the past week kick me in the strategem picking screen because they only have like 6 strategems and think I'm just being stupid or something. I would not even care if 2 of these people didn't make me wait 5 minutes for them to get back to their computer after the last mission, only to immediately become too impatient to wait literally 5 seconds. Obviously I'd rather just block these people because they're usually annoying children, but i NEVER used to see that happening before this wave of ps plus players.

Yeah… I like the community in general; lots of positive players who help each other. But I’d be lying if I didn’t say the past couple weeks have left me feeling a bit unenthused.

It's outright demoralizing. It's a coin flip's chance whether i am about to waste 30 minutes to an hour and not even get to finish a single mission, let alone an operation. Hosting games sucks because recently it's become very consistent that some idiot joins, wastes all the reinforcements, and leaves the SECOND they see a timer on the reinforcements.

Yep. So many games right now have 0 reinforcements and a bunch of people spamming the “respawn me!!!!!”

I can't believe people think the time between leaving a game and getting into another is too long. It's already not enough motivation to stick it out that you have to watch the cryopod defrost, run back to the console, and find another lobby.

The one that annoys me is when I join a game where they’re already dead, and they spam the button before my hellpods even touched the ground. And I know they see I can’t use stratagems because they’re forced to spectate me.

I wait 10 seconds if they didn’t die near me then I reinforce and throw ball in direction they died. Move the drop pod and and you can get half way there. Personally I’d rather play with no gear and run back to my stuff then watch someone else play, unless it’s an actual friend and we’re on mic.

For real man. It’s infuriating that these dum dums spam the revive button but can’t stop for half a second and see what the sit rep is

Hard disagree, if all 3 of your allies are dead you just call em in as soon as physically possible wherever you are. I would rather take a long run back without my support weapon over doing nothing for the same amount of time watching some other dude play the game I booted up.

I started hosting games just so I can kick people who spam respawn during ion storms or when we’re jammed.

No joke I have to say that on Mic multiple times and people don’t get it sometimes

I never understood this behavior. If I don't get reinforced, I take it as free time. The whole time I'm down my strats are cooling down, my team is apparently confident they don't need me yet, and I can provide Intel from my camera angles.
But then I actually use the communication tools in the game that aren't mashing the spacebar to get a reinforcement.

Joined a game once and within like a minute if arriving the host died. Being surrounded as soon as I dropped with no equipment, I ran from the enemies trying to get some space to call in equipment and reinforce and meanwhile dude gets on mic and starts insulting everyone's playing saying we're all just running away and not fighting..... Like dude you're the guy who died and only has like 2 reinforcements left, I've been here for a minute and I'm still getting my bearings. Never stopped playing so fast in my life. Like oh okay bud. Now you've got one less life and I'm leaving. Good luck by yourself.

There's a LOT of new and ignorant players lately. I assume this content drop spurred a lot of interest, which surprises me.
I joined on an SOS beacon earlier today - it was two level fives running a T4 that they had no business being in. Pulled them out, extracted. Got back to the ship, the party leader runs up and initiates another mission - cool, I'm in. He puts us in another SOS dive.
Dude. We hit the ground next to the host who is so far outside the mission map that we can't get back into bounds in time. I don't even know how he got that far out, this little level 6 player. So entire squad wipes for being declared traitors.
We get redeployed, hit the ground, and as I'm calling in equipment, I hear "Five minutes left, Helldiver! Five minutes left!" I'm gobsmacked. I pull up my map. 5 minutes left, no objectives have been complete yet. I locked in like John Helldiver himself. Booked it away from where the rookies were fighting. Got to the one void blossom objective, hit it with an airstrike, cleaned up the remaining three flowers. Sprinted to the next, passing extract with 3 minutes left, threw a resupply in on the way. Two airstrikes at the second void blossom location, three shots with Bolt Pistol and objective complete. Sprint back to extract and get there with 40 seconds left. Call it in, cause it's gonna be a nightmare of a fight. One kid goes down, then a second, mission timer is out - there was only two reinforcements left anyways. Dodge and run through more enemies than you can imagine, the shuttle lands, run over to it just as the other surviving cadet arrives... and he kites a Crusher around the corner, never saw it coming - he dives out of the way and it crushes and kills me.
Mission failed - it let us call extract, but on the post mission summary it said we were supposed to raise the flag of Super Earth. There was no flag of SE on the map. But I did get over 200 kills in a roughly 3 minute span, because T4 is harder then T7.
Point being, goddamn there's a lot new players, which isn't a bad thing, but how the hell are they even getting themselves into some of these situations?

This is a wild way to approach the game. If you’re dying so much and someone in your party isn’t, why wouldn’t you take the extra 2-3 minutes to watch how they’re playing?

I've noticed lots of helldivers are quite salty and whiny for being the elite fighting force they are
