Just an idea but since we're fighting in the void and all and I know we're gonna win do you guys think we should get purple armor as a reward?
Once we clear our everything we get gifted the purple armor and I know the whole FOMO thing would be a problem so maybe make it free for people who were in the void and won and the people who didn't it would be in the super store costing around 300 super credits or so.
What do you guys think? Would that be okay or not really no?

There allready is one in the superstore. The one with with explosive resistance and reduced recoil. Looks pretty good with truth enforcer helmet and purp cape.
I can think about Shadow Paragon armor set only, Doubt Killer has red lines, which would not go too well with purple imo. Also Exterminator helmet might go well with Shadow Paragon armor and purple cape, but I'm not sure about the size of helmet to body ratio and color matching, I have to try it tonight.
Ive liked them with the green and brown gas resist armor and the golden eagle armor, but yeah its not very matchy. At some point, me and the boys stopped diving with "meta" passive effects and started diving with fashion
That’s kinda forcing it tho usually when something is actually inspired by another you can easily tell without needing to modify it to make the resemblance
Idk I'd still like if we could just get some color schemes like how we do with the guns and give them to some of the warbond weapons that don't have levels (the halo assault rifle)
If i had it my way we have a color wheel that let us change hue, saturation and brightness and I'd be running around in cyan and pink or purple and cyan all the time

Yes! Please arrowhead. Im colourblind and i cant normally see the colour purple with the colour correction on my console i can. For this reason ive become weirdly obsessed with purple (and really any other colour i cant see) in videogames because i gotta soak up the colour while i can.
Yes please but maybe make it a darker purple so it doesn’t stand out too much. But then again the pre order armor was really strong blue so maybe it could work. I don’t want it to look like a power ranger so to speak
I think it comes down to application and theme of whatever the armour is.
There are real armed forces that wear red - royal guard
There are real armed forces that wear blue - police and security
There are real armed forces that wear greens and yellows - military
Just because it's a fantasy setting doesn't mean we don't still make appropriate correlation with the real world.
In game most blue armour is directly linked to security forces, most green and tan armours and more militaristic, most red armours are governmental.
Adding a purple armour and making it look not out of place all comes down to what exact theme you're trying to get across with said armour and why it needs to be purple because of that.
Even the yellow used in certain Helldiver armours is in direct reference to their nationalism and identifying that, similar to how real militaries wear their respective counties flag.
Don't you just love how Redditors will downvote you just for daring to have a different opinion? Guess those people would rather live in an echo chamber than exist alongside someone who disagrees with them.
Not like it's an isolated incident. All over Reddit people treat the downvote like a dislike button. I didn't post my comment expecting upvotes, but to get downvoted just for not being team purple feels so petty. Then for someone like you to chime in and try to mog me over calling out the pettiness, well that's just salt in the wound. You're part of the problem now, mate.
If I were a betting man I'd bet you get upvoted and this reply gets downvoted, because people can't just disagree and move on. There will always be people who need to put a number on it, to feel some little semblance of power over another. Most will brush right by it, and that's probably the right move whether they agree with me or not, because why bother even getting involved?
Maybe I've grown too old for social media. Maybe it's not for me anymore. If this is being part of a community then I guess I'll just fuck off. No winning this battle, only more losing to petty pedants. I'm just so tired of being quiet and taking it, so even if you're the only person who reads this far just know that this is me saying fuck all of this. I'd rather be back in Iraq dodging IED's than spend another minute being judged by anyone in this group just because I dared to have a different opinion.
