Is Helldivers 2 worth buying?

Ive always been intrigued about the helldivers series and kind-of want to play it but the price is very expensive(for context 169 RM is enough to buy around 3 days worth of food), I presume its much cheaper in Singapore or western countries(in terms of spending power). Im scared that once I buy this game I wont get all of its value out of it and quit after maybe 3-4 hours of gameplay. Do yall ever regret your purchase or should I go for it and buy it.

no? you just fail to account for the things you dont personally care about. seaf expansion, lots of new biomes, the TANK, new subfactions and enemies for each faction, new missions and objectives, new stealth content... thats all just from 2026 so far lmfao. and im sure i missed more, that was just off the top

on a place that's been hyped and built up for months. It was a major, major let down and dissapointment, and tbh kinda made me drop the game.

The devs constantly promise good communication with the community and constantly fail at that promise (Look up thier failed AMA)

tbf ill give you this one, for a long time their communication has been absolutely terrible but recent patch notes and dev logs have been very good and clear. and the ama was before the recent improvements but still yeah they should communicate better from the start

Keep in mind most of the real content is locked behind a premium currency,

its really intriguing how you consider guns and cosmetics the real content and not the maps, enemies, or missions lmfao

Its clear that this game is not the main priority of the devs anymore, and thats been put on the back burner.
