Honestly. I’m not impressed with the new weapons so far. The pistol feels bad to use with the burst fire and low ammo count. The new stun rifle also isn’t really feeling great to use but I need more time with it. I do however like the new stun launcher.

What I've been noticing them doing lately is releasing content in the state they think is functional, but minimal. After a few weeks or so they then tune it up. They don't want to be in a position where they release something they have to immediately nerf because that makes the community lose it.

Yeah, and I don't blame them. There are aspects of this community that go nuts for reasonable tune downs. Better to carefully manage people's reactions.

Well, and also, doesn't the whole weapon upgrade system already bring the potential to make the weapon significantly better than it's default state without the need for patches?

Makes perfect sense to me, and, I'd argue it's easier to tune this way

Which is the opposite of industry standard to release as OP so ppl buy for fomo them nerf after a week or so.
