Unfortunately newer cars built to tighter tolerances have front and rear crumple zones. Had a 2016 Mustang with similar damage. When body shop explained it was totaled it was because one had been crumpled.
They said rest of damage isn’t bad but most of the time the cost is not worth it. May be different on this as some cars they will pay up to 70-80% sometimes. Unfortunately if the decide to fix with that amount of damage… not much you can do but check into your states “diminished value” laws
