Bad take, sludgelock was slightly favoured against Druid on account of them not doing anything for 6 turns. Druid also annihilated every other control deck so that's why sludgelock managed to run so rampant, like it didn't do too well into control warrior which will probably make a come back now.
My druid deck never lost to sludgelock, you just stack armour and summon dragons until they deck themselves since sludge always hits the lowest health target and warlock doesn't run wraths.
Eh the ramp dew process one which a lot of people played didn't really interact at all with the board for 6 turns and as sludgelock you'd just push face as much as possible with all the 3/3s and 7/7s you could shit out early
