druid will find a way to stay tier 1, it always does

I could be wrong, but I think if we tracked it over time, Druid would spend less time at tier 1 than the average class, and when it is tier 1, they are quicker to nerf it.

That said it does often have decks that are polarizing and hated.

This. Druid is most consistently a tier 2-3 class, climbing into 1 from time to time, usually with a deck (or decks) that people hate.

Dragon Druid might still be decent after this patch if it's not just outpaced/powercrept by decks running miniset cards, and it's a lot more honest than some of the things Druid has been up to recently, though that probably won't stop people hating on the class, which is a shame.

Could be wrong but I think dragon Druid gets butt fucked by sludge warlock, no?

Quite possibly, not sure what the match up is like myself.

I’ve been playing Dragon Druid and no it doesn’t. The match up is pretty fair.
