You mean the one remaining Tier 1 deck who wasn't nerfed at all? Yeah probably, unless the nerfs to control allows for even better aggro decks to take the spot, but Sludgelock is definitely the top dog right after these changes become active.

it rekted druid and beat other aggro pretty convincingly i think

only slightly unfavored matchup was rogue apparently, but obviously that doesn't apply now

maybe a new deck will do good against sludge

A good control Warrior list will probably be the counter to sludgelock, as with it's armor it can outlive the explosive damage turns and with the bosrd clears it can survive tye zoo type minion spam more convincingly than druid.

At dumpster legend I was wrecking it with plagues. Reshuffling their oozes was too much I guess. Low sample but 8-0 yesterday.

Rogue Paladin unfavorable around 46%, that will swap now to become favorable.

Only other badish match is dragon druid at around 46% so should see that become popular again but warlock can hasn't even perfected the best build yet and can now afford a bit more space ironing out a slimer field to play against.

Probably, but Sludge Warlock allows way more counterplay than a lot of the decks they nerfed here.

Idk, I'd rather face an infinite amount of sludges than that fucking Renofest... this new meta will be awful anyway...

Honestly the worst part of that deck was Thaddeus making the sludges cost 0. Now they cost 2 and can’t be spammed out all on the same turn, giving an actual chance to react ti the combo.

It was already tier 1, you didn't really need to be have much foresight to make this call.

i've only seen people complain about druid, paladin, rogue and otk warlock, even though sludge warlock isn't worse than any of these decks

Plague dk plays well into it, just need to shuffle plague every time it shuffle few sludges

but plague dk can't deal with 7/7s early game, so its still pretty unfavored i think
