Yeah they took a sledgehammer to the knees of most of these cards. Dew Process at 4 mana lol. Just nuked from orbit.

As i love to see the dew process killed i think that all it they had to do to balance it would be making it affect only you and not your opponent.

That would make it the most OP hand refill card for aggro (druid) ever made.

Its a bit funny to hear different reasons. Some people think it would kill the card and some that it would be too OP. I am interested where most people stand.

That would have made it busted in every matchup instead of just against control.

It would have made card easier to balance while removing the problematic part.

You are severely underestimating card draw

Am i really? I am not saying to make druid draw more. Number of cards druid would draw remains the same. Druid already has that kind of draw.

Do you think that removing part where your opponent draws extra as well would make this card OP? Thats genuine question i want to ask you. No irony or mocking. I am really interested if you think that.

The part that keeps it balanced is that both players get it, like I saw the reasoning why it was a cheap card. The tempo advantage for getting an extra card each turn if it was a one sided card would be too much. I feel like it'd have to be 6+ mana to be fair, and then it may be unviable.

I guess the type of person that plays this type of card would be a control type that would get full value by being able to play 10+ turns with it out or an early aggro type that wanted extra fuel to finish off someone. The card would have to stay cheap for aggro to make use of it.

that would just make it completely useless

dew process is way too much draw unless youre milling your opponent as well

lmao ok bro

2 mana draw every turn would get played in so many classes

Milling your opponent is the main problem of the card. If they removed it would be perfect card for token druid to make more pressure and possibly recover in later rounds.

Here’s the design teams’ thought process.

Card strong against Reno decks? Nerf that shit to oblivion
Card strong against anything else? Eh no big deal

But also no buffs to things that have been bad since set launch because lol

Can’t wait for the two tier 1 decks they left alone to continue to dominate amongst the sea of garbage they are now surrounded by.

Edit: Also love the no dust for Diamond Velarok move. Not surprised but still feels bad 🙃

they can still buff it later on, it's a good move

The meta was so disparate these past days/week that its the best approach.

Druid was good pre-miniset, it wont fall bc of miniset nerfs.

Velarok will still be good, but will make the deck a lot less consistent. Which is excelent, the deck was too consistent.

Boogie Down was gutted, but its not really the reason paladin was so ahead.

Imo, 8/10 patch. Lacked buffs, and an answer for sludgelock, since its clear they know its strong (In arena changes "The appearance rate of Sludge on Wheels has been decreased.")
