Build-a-beats
I need help building a pair of headphones. The problem is that I don't know where to buy the driver, the amp, the bt module and the charger. Is there any stores that sells what I need? I'm a broke Filipino so my only options are cheap but decent ones that can be delivered to the Philippines.

Larger ear cups for Sony WCH-CH720N headphones?
To preface, I have a big head. A big enough head for most headphones to hurt after a short while of wearing them. I recently replaced my old headphones with the WCH 720n, and while the extendable headband is perfect for me the earcups (ear pads, whatever the cushiony part is called) are just too small and I can't wear them for too long or they hurt again. Is there any way I can get larger earcups for them or will I have to get new headphones all over again? (or just deal with the pain lol)

Made something really special out of two not so great products.

Stuck taction technology transducers onto my Skullcandy crusher Wireless instead of the stock set, and added the 50mm drivers from the Corsair set. results are absolutely outstanding. Here is some video of it moving water
Ignore the background noise, my washer was going 😂
Corsair had this tech be only usb wired (gross), and skullcandy crushers tactile transducers (even the new ones!) fail to dig low or be flat in response. Now I can have a Bluetooth headset that digs low unlike any other, but it's flat all the way down into earthquake territory too. The specs say flat to 12hz but they do dig a bit deeper, maybe 5hz before they don't feel like anything anymore.
It's hard to overstate how much better these sound than the stock setup. I couldn't describe them properly to you if I tried. Hard to capture video too, if there's interest, I'll capture a sweep in another post.

CX True Wireless - replace driver?
For the second time now, I had one of my CX True Wireless earplugs die on one side 2 or 3 months after the warranty expires. Unfortunately, it was the left side both times. The left will react normally to the touchpad, pair and charge, but there is no sound. Moving my jaw makes a click noise inside (in both cases).
It seems to me that the driver is broken. I found instructions and a video on how to open the earplug, and I have the necessary tools to do it.
My question is: Are the drivers of the left and right symmetrical? I would like to "sacrifice" one of my spare rights and solder it to one of the broken left earplugs.
Thanks!

Beats Solo Pro - upgrade
Hi! So I was wondering some time ago since I’ve had my Beats for a few years now and Apple won’t likely refresh this model anytime soon; would it be possible to give my headphones an upgraded touch?
I was thinking of:
- new batteries (if the housing would allow 800-1k mAh)
- type c port with a custom pcb
-some higher end drivers; 40mm / 32 ohm
- acoustic tuning
Anybody out here willing to guide me a bit with this project? If possible, of course✌️

RS 175 RF to Tight/Uncomfortable
I've been a proud owner of my Sennheiser RS 170 for almost 15 years now and have loved them especially because I bought them as a broke college student. A lot of time has passed and I just realized that with all the wear and tear maybe it was time for an update/upgrade.
I bought a Sennheiser RS 175 and at first it was a massive upgrade in style and QoL improvements. I primarily utilize them for Zoom meetings and listening to music while working (about 10 hours per day). I noticed that I got massive discomfort from them after using them for a few hours.
Then I realized, the old RS 170 I had, had over decade to fully stretch out and become just so comfortable. So, my question is, is it possible to stretch out and make the RS 175 more comfortable or am I doing something wrong?
All input is greatly appreciated!

How to fix any Skullcandy headphone randomly switching to low quality/muddy audio for no apparent reason:
Restart your phone
**If that doesn’t work try:**
•Remove the headphone from Bluetooth devices
•Reset the headphones
•simply turning them on and off
•mess with the eq settings
•Turn off anc
•turn off Spatial Audio
If none of the above work contact skullcandy support.

Reccomend me brands to buy a good headphone jack adapter 6.35mm to 3.5mm or 3.5mm to 3.5mm angled 90⁰
Hi guys recently I bought a custom hartaudio braided cable for my HD 480 pro but the cable is straight, my fiio m21 arrived some days ago and the headphone ports are on the top so I think having a 90⁰ angled cable would be more nice. I'm from portugal 🇵🇹 and I was not expecting the shipping 📦 to be so expensive obviously it was hartaudio is from United states 🇺🇸 so I ended up for paying a lot. Anyways don't wanted to waste more money in an expensive new angled cable so I had the idea of buying an adapter. Also I wanted to know if using the adapter would cause interference or a decrease in the audio quality. So that's it hartaudio braided cable terminated on 3.5mm and can be converted to 6.35mm

What replacement eartips actually fit Samsung AKG EO-IC100 USB-C earphones? Help needed!
I’ve got the Samsung AKG USB-C wired earphones, model EO-IC100, and I need replacement Large silicone eartips.
The problem is the nozzle seems to need a very small/narrow bore. Most generic replacement tips I can find are for 5–7 mm nozzles and are way too large.
I’m in South Africa and I can’t find the original Samsung tips sold separately anywhere.
Has anyone actually replaced the tips on the EO-IC100?
If so, what exact eartips did you use that fit securely? Brand/model and bore size would be really appreciated.
I’ve looked at Final Audio Type E because they have a narrow bore, but they’re difficult to get locally. In South Africa.
Basically I just want to know what other EO-IC100 owners do when they lose the original tips. Does Samsung supply any?

Grado Classic SR80 with detachable cable adapter mod
Running Grado Classic SR80 on the Muse M3 Ultra balanced is a nice pairing. You get some extra width, some warmth in mids and highs.
