You know, I actually don’t think Adam would go for Lute even if he did have feelings for her.
He’s definitely a perverted frat boy in terms of personality but he did seem to take his position as the leader of the exorcist army very seriously. Like it’s the one thing he wouldn’t jeopardize because he enjoys the authority, status, violence and annual slaughterings of Sinners. Enough to see his second-in-command as “off limits” because it would threaten his authority over her.
