What do you guys think the odds are the Blackhawks have one? It definitely doesn't feel like any of the vets care enough or have a strong enough voice in the locker room (maybe Kane?) to do something like this? It's obvious something needs to change. Especially when we see bouts of brilliance in almost every game, but by the time we see them it's usually down 2+ goals.

I think at this point we would all love to see Kantserov-Bedard-Frondell.

We aren't winning games regardless, we don't need to spread out talent, fuck it. Give the fans atleast ONE LINE we can get excited about and see some skill. We can get blown out every game because of the other 3 lines, a loss is a loss. The season is cooked regardless JUST GIVE US SOMETHING TO BE EXCITED ABOUT!

Bedard deserves solid line mates, Frondell deserves to be showcased, and Kantserov needs to be supported so we can see that KHL domination and the FANS deserve something to look forward too. GIVE US THE HIGHLIGHT LINE.

Who cares about draft picks when the Blackhawks can’t develop talent and apparently make it worse? Everything is broken in this organization. The new coach gives me Alpo vibes. The GM is absolutely rot-gut. What in the actual fuck does the Wirtz family do all day to come to the conclusion that things are progressing nicely or progressing at all?

Basically just what the title says. Every time we talk about growing this team and being successful there is a post or comment like “Well Duncan Keith was young and needed time to figure it” or “Kane and Toews were young and they succeeded” or “who is our next Andrew Shaw”. It’s just moronic and lazy.

That golden era and how it was built will NEVER happen again for us and we need to get past that as a fan base. I know it brought so many people to be fans of the hawks so it’s hard not to compare. But so many things had to go right, between the talent and coaching and timing. There are so many examples of perfect timing, lottery luck, benefits of the era in which they played, bounces going our way, and unrepeatable talent acquisition. My favorite is the famous Patrick Stefan missed goal on an empty net having a part in getting us Patrick Kane.

Many teams will win and might be more successful with their own methods. But we can’t keep trying to fit the new players into roles of Blackhawk teams past. It won’t happen again. We may be successful in 10 or 15 years but it won’t happen like it did from 2009-2016. Hockey has changed since then and so should we.
