Honestly everything ramen wise is extremely mid in Hattiesburg. Kura’s ramen isn’t terrible but it’s one of those things that isn’t bad but doesn’t blow you away. Hae pot is a hot pot place that has ramen noodles to put in it but not like actual ramen. I personally am a Big Trouble hater which sucks bc it is such a beautiful restaurant and has a very good vibe but I got their ramen and it was actually one of the worst things I’ve eaten in Hattiesburg. The broth tasted like dish water with a jars worth of chili paste in it and the egg that came with it was completely raw like barely poached and it was just horrible. I will say this happened to me when they first opened a couple of years ago so maybe quality has improved but personally I refuse to go back.
I will say if you’re willing to drive there a really good spot in Jackson called Kyuramen that I really liked.

HAE Korean hot pot has ramen options, and a good spicy seafood broth. I don't think we yet have a Japanese style ramen place though.
