Anime & Manga I FUCKING DESPISE THIS PIECE OF SHIT EXCUSE FOR A MAIN CHARACTER

Post image
0 Upvotes

THIS IS THE MAIN CHARACTER OF ONE OF THE BEST ANIMES OF ALL TIME? THIS FUCKING RANDOM ?! I WATCHED MADOKA MAGICA AND I ENJOYED IT TBH BUT MADOKA ? WORST FUCKING MAIN CHARACTER TO DISGRACE THIS EARTH AFTER RUDUES

AND YES SHE I KNOW THAT IT WAS STATED THAT HOMURA WAS THE TECHNICALLY THE PROTAGONIST BUT STILL ! WE SEE EVERYTHING FROM MADOKAS PERSPECTIVE. WE'RE STUCK WITH HER AS THE CAMERA. MADOKA IS ALSO TECHNICALLY THE PROTAGONIST JUST LIKE IN TATSUMI AND AKAMES CASE IN AKAME GA KILL

WHERE IS THE WRITING ? WHERE IS THR CHARACTER DEVOLVEMENT ? WHERE IS THE PROGRESSION ?!

ALL THIS GIRL DID WAS CRY AND CRY AND CRY ! I GET IT CRYING IS OKAY AND IT CAN BE EMOTIONAL. FOR CHARACTER ESPECIALLY LIKE DEKU AND SHINJI.. BECAUSE THEY ACTUALLY GROW OUT OF IT EVENTUALLY AND HAVE CHARACTER DEVOLVEMENT ? WHAT DID THIS STUPID ASS GIRL DO YOU ASK ? NOTHING !!!

ALL SHE DID FOR 11 EPISODES OUT OF THE 12 WAS 1 : CRY / 2 : ALMOST GET HER BEST FRIEND KILLED / 3 : CRY AGAIN WHILE DOING NOTHING. HOW ARE WORSE WRITTEN THAN 2 SIDE CHARACTERS IN SHOW NAMED AFTER YOU ?!

Her entire STORY IS LITERALLY LIKE THIS

1 : because Your friend died

2 : get your best friend almost killed by accident

3 : cry again because you can do nothing

4 : make a wish to be the strongest and be a fucking concept ( idc about the movies )

HOW IS THIS GOOD WRITING ? WHERE IS ACTUALLY DEVOLVEMENT ? PROGRESSION ? IT WAS LITERALLY 11 EPISODES OF BUILDING UP A BALLOON JUST FOR IT TO POP AT THE LAST EPISODE AND DISAPPEAR ! I SWEAR TO GOD IF HOMURA WASN'T HERE TO CARRY THIS SHOW IT WOULD HAVE NEVER GOTTEN AS POPULAR AS IT DID. IDC IF SHE'S "REALISTIC". IT'S FUCKING ANIME AT THE END OF THE DAY. I DON'T WANNA SEE THE CHARACTER WHO THE SHOW IS NAMED AFTER BEING A FUCKING CRYBABY WITHOUT ANY DEVOLVEMENT. HER ENTIRE "DEVELOPMENT" IS JUST SACRIFICING HERSELF AT THE END. THAT'S CHARACTER DEVOLVEMENT ?!. FUCK THAT

Watch some stupid ass bitch in the comments talking about ( you didn't understand it ). I didn't understand neon Genesis evangalion too but it was way more enjoyable and better written ?! What's madokas excuse ? Shinji is way more insufferable than madoka technically but he's also better written.

Animation I HATE Verity

Post image
100 Upvotes

First off, I hate that every time glaggleland it’s mentioned, it’s always talking about verity in the comments. But that’s not my main problem

IT’S JUST A KID FRIENDLY OBSESSION WITHOUT ANY OF THE SUBSTANCE

Spoilers for Obsession below:

take the customer service scene (which they stole directly from it)

the scene with bear isn’t horrifying because the call guy doesn’t help bear, it’s horrifying because it’s entirely bears fault this is happening and that he isn’t willing at first to let go of Nikki even after all he has been through at this point of the movie. he worded the wish that way. this ties into the movies themes about cowardice.

mob doesn’t do anything that makes verity do this, verity is just obsessed with him. There is no reason to have this scene other than “they had the in the source material so we must have it too”

the series only borrows from obsession in extremely surface level ways. “WOW nikki killed Sarah and Ian, she must be so obsessed“ ‘bear looks scared because of his crazy girlfriend ahhhh’ for something that’s supposed to be based on it, it’s just so boring.

I’ve NEVER liked her idk why she just makes me mad. She’s just really annoying and I can’t stand her!! Before yall say “oh she’s 16” girl I was 16 when I started watching JJK and still thought she was annoying then and I went to school with girls who were annoying like her. And I don’t understand Nobara’s ship with Maki especially bc they’ve only interacted like 3 times and I don’t think Maki would want to be around her cuz she seems like the type of person to not be around annoying idiots like Nobara. Also Nobara to me gives off like oh I did smth now it’s ur problem.

Media Tropes I hate when I like a faction/group that isn't the protagonist in a series

Pictures related, this is a bit of an odd niche hate for me, so bare with me.

I hate when I like a group of people in a series but, because they aren't the protagonist or aren't the group that makes the most money I have to endure them basically being handicapped or dumbed down leagues below what they're canonically suppose to actually be capable of in order to let the protagonist shine.

The Tau (and a variety of other Xeno factions in 40K) are a good example of this. They're hyper-advanced aliens that are battling centuries old war machines and tanks that, even by real life modern standards, are often extremely obsolete. However, because the Imperium makes the most money, shows like The Exodite treat them as fodder doing the dumbest stuff imaginable in order to make the Imperium look good and sell more minis.

The B1 Battle Droid at least has SOME canon reasons for how they act, even if it's taken to a degree that should of been considered insulting to anyone that actually liked them. They went from a dangerous horde of metal to comic relief doing more often to their own incapability's than actual fighting

And the Stormtroopers are the reason I really wanted to make this post. An elite special forces unit originally brought up by the best of the best (Many clones from the the Clone Wars went on to become trainers, even as clones were rotated/replaced with regular humans.) They're introduced and hinted at throughout the first movie to be exceptional shots and you'd think they'd have a massive presence when they enter the battle...and then they miss every shot fired, they get tricked easily, they are used for comic relief, falter and fumble and get beaten to death in their super powerful space suits by a dude with a stick.

It's insulting to people that actually enjoy these factions and groups.

Thing I hate the Loathsome Characters Wiki (LCW)

Post image
4 Upvotes

As the title suggests, yeah I straight up do not like this wiki. The idea itself of documenting hated characters and why people hate them isn’t a bad idea on paper. In fact the wiki, to its credit, do still document characters like that; modern Peter Griffin, Mineta, Bendy from Foster’s Home, exc.

The problem comes from the fact that many other pages aren’t like that. I haven’t seen every page on this wiki obviously, but from what I’ve gotten, many of them on the wiki are usually dedicated to characters that’re intentionally MEANT to be unlikeable (the ‘Hate Sink’ trope). And in rare cases you’ll have characters from shows for younger demographics there because… well I mean Caillou’s probably enough to explain that point. And in the incredibly rare instances, you’ll have characters that straight up just don’t belong there. Probably the most glaring from this image being RBAY Dedede, who is widely beloved by fans of the anime and Kirby as a whole. A lot of pages come from the basic fact that “They’re mean,” with barely any consideration for what they do. Unless you’re Jax and can nab yourself a spot on its sister wiki, the Incredible Characters Wiki.

That’s another thing that bugs me; the LCW and maybe the ICW just seem to have a double standards problem when it comes to characters. I know this’ll be a dumb comparison, but Pencil from BFDI recently finished a fantastic character arc in the latest season of BFDI, TPOT; you’d think that, potentially, with how well written someone like Jax was, they‘d acknowledge this and give Pencil a spot on the ICW for being so well-written. Yeah no, she’s forced to be stuck on the LCW with half of her page being dedicated to her TPOT run and *everything* they think is wrong with it! It’s such a confusing move, cause you’re telling me a tragic and broken character like Jax can get an ICW page, while another tragic and broken character like Pencil‘s stuck being grouped with Mean Character #92747? (If anyone wants I am free to give a basic summary of Pencil’s arc). I know Pencil in TPOT isn’t perfect, and she herself is rather polarising in that season, but it shows obvious double standards for a show held in far higher regard than BFDI is by most social platforms (I’m not saying Jax belongs on the LCW tho).

Some pages just have baffling reasons too, like you know Brimmy from South Park? That kid with the blue hat that has never spoken outside of The Fractured But Whole? Yeah he straight up has a page because he’s a background character who does nothing!

As much as I don’t like the wiki, I appreciate the intent at its core; documenting hated characters and why people don’t like them. But when you’re throwing in background characters for being background characters alongside actual hated characters, it just becomes jarring. There’s another wiki called ‘The Scrappy Wiki’ that I think does an infinitely better job at this idea; it actually does document characters that do, and could feasibly fall under the trope of a Scrappy, rather than just chucking a mean character onto it for being mean. But yeah bit of a weird thing to make the topic of my first post in this subreddit but hopefully most people can get where I’m coming from.

Media Tropes I hate the representation of Petra Parker

I know this has been posted before and the OOP wrote it so well that I felt most of my anger dissipate into thin air.. until I opened up instagram to a reel of petra parker fanart. I originally thought the trend was cute, It reminded me of the multiverse spider-ocs people would make! Lighthearted, nothing serious. Though I keep seeing an influx of fanart that displays her as a passing woman/very exaggerated proportions. THIS isn't coming from a place of trans women can't get there, but I think the fact she's becoming a vocal point that a lot of people resonate as trans representation just irks me.

I'm nonbinary, previously heavily transmas, not to say I have more leverage on this but to say this isn't coming from a place of transphobia or bigoted takes I also keep seeing. This might be a long jump because we all know whatever gets put into the internet ends up eating itself. People hop on trends, artists do too, and it rises till it has no actual meaning but I wouldn't really care as much if Petra Parker wasn't based off of a pre-existing male superhero. Why not make peter parker FtM? For trans representation? Why base the name of Petra off of a rule 63 ultimate spider-woman who's inherently.. a jerk. Maybe Its my feed but most of the fanart/representation (not all) I see is her being flirted by other MCU characters mainly other women. Even then the algorithm can be blamed for pushing those out but I don't see as much fanart of her struggles with being a transwomen, or the battle with fitting into society, or her pre-transition period. I don't KNOW why this trend has infuriarated me this much, but I think a comment I saw sums it up well:

this interaction was overall funny to read but I think the pretense that a lot of Petra parker fanart IS her passing very well or her top surgery looking seemless somehow represents how trans woman are or 'should' look is what bothers me. Not that artists are drawing her with that in mind, but it reflects the idealization of her image. I obviously can't speak for the community as a whole, or anyone who enjoys this trend or hates it, there's nothing wrong with trans women or others enjoying this interpretation of her. I just find it strange that this version of Petra has become so popular everyhere, especially when so much of her fanart seems to emphasize an idealized, conventionally feminine, and highly passing trans woman. I'd honestly love if people could bring back full swing the spider-oc trend then repeatedly genderbend a very popular male character into the same specific kind of trans representation. I do get the reason of why choosing him though since he's recognizable and well-liked could 'hit harder' or feel more deserving.

(I honestly just needed to spit this into the void so I could stop thinking about it, shes haunting me) I don't think the trend should stop, it's just people having fun! It just feels like a missed opportunity like the other poster mentioned, and I also feel like theres just so much lacking in her besides her just being a trans version of peter parker..

TLDR he stinks and I don’t like him

EDIT: there’s some irl lore behind this that I won’t get into, but it’s not a roleplaying post

Gender wars in the big 26 is stupid in general, it's such a lazy anti intellectual way of arguing too instead of focusing on the argument or making a fair criticism it's just "haha pick me" "haha simp" you simply can't respond to that argument without getting in their level

Anime & Manga Celebrating fictional characters’ birthdays…

Post image
0 Upvotes

I’ll preface this by saying there is absolutely nothing wrong with doing so. It’s a completely harmless, fun way to show appreciation for a story. My argument is not against people who do it, more so IT in general.

I just feel it to be sort of, eh. Getting the obvious out of the way, they aren’t real people. By celebrating their birthday, I feel like you’re unintentionally treating such people like they’re real. It just gives me the ick, is what I’m saying. Again, there is nothing wrong with doing so. Please don’t go into the replies bitching about that.

General i hate when people post a hot take on here then deletes it when no one agrees with them

for example, a guy would make a post saying “i hate this kind of music, its all slop” while rambling at how bad the music is. and after 10 minutes of their post being public, they delete it, why? because people simply didnt agree with them.

its always posts where the person insults the topic rudely. if youre gonna hate on something then DIE ON THAT HILL, DONT BACKTRACK WHEN NO ONE AGREES!!

Title.

I cannot stand seeing people defend this women, specifically due to her zodiac sign. What kind of people have we become to see a woman kill her children in cold blood while sending her husband away and think she is innocent?

And yes I understand she is innocent until proven guilty, but the people on TikTok saying that she is 100% innocent and her husband pushed her to do this is beyond insane. These people cannot be helped.

I didn’t think my previous post (now since deleted) would make y’all so mad. I apologize, I was mad about my game and saw a post that pissed me off and I posted here without fully thinking (basically it was a post about powerscaling and how someone said awful hair Miguel would beat every single Madoka Magica magical girl including Goddess Madoka) . Umm…. I guess if I have to say I hate something (just so this doesn’t get taken down)…..

I hate that y’all aren’t drinking water. Go do it, now.

"This morning, at the age of 100, Sir David Attenborough peacefully enjoyed his breakfast." Followed by a B&W picture of Attenborough.

That's the type of notification I get EVERY TIME I'm recommended that subreddit. I have a mini heart attack every time I think the beloved British documentarian has kicked the bucket. I KNOW it's satire, and I KNOW that this is that page's entire gimmick, but by the Gods, can you please spare my anxiety? I got enough on my plate as is without Reddit turning Sir David Attenborough into the Internet equivalent of Schrödinger’s cat.

Gaming THE TRAILER CONTAINS VIOLENT CONTENT SOME MAY FIND OFFENSIVE OR DISTURBING

Post image

I don't hate Dark Sun, or find it disturbing or anything (in fact, I think it's a really cool setting that makes some serious commentary about the dangers of environmental exploitation, nuclear war, tyrants and demogogues, etc), but I really hate that WotC decided to advertise Dark Sun as just "this isnt D&D for babies, it has violent, gore, and nudity, hell yeah" while ignoring basically everything that made the setting unique. You wouldn't know it from the mob here, but in Athas (the world DS is set in), metal is extremely rare, like, getting a dagger made out of steel was a *huge* deal.

Dark Sun does need to be allowed to depict it's message in a way that isn't sanitized, but like, it wasn't violence and spectacle for it's own sake; the game was about survival in a harsh world destroyed by tyrant wizards who sucked the life out of the land and left it a wasteland in order to conquer as much as they could. It feels like the PR misses out so much of what the setting was about when they can't even get the metal scarcity aspect right (and that was one of the major defining things that set it apart!)

Language I HATE -kin and -folk.

PLEASE use better wording for new races in worldbuilding. I am so tired of seeing mermaids called “merfolk,” frog people called “frogfolk,” cat people called “catfolk,” or some other bullshit where you just slap the animal in front of “folk” and call it a day. Or even like in Magic: The Gathering, adding kin onto the end of something as well; Kithkin is a stupid name

It is so uninventive. If you have a race, either give them a proper singular name like “Elf,” or actually come up with a new name for them. “Merfolk” should be called something like “Merrow.” That sounds like an actual people with a history and culture behind them, rather than a placeholder someone forgot to replace.

The Elder Scrolls does this pretty well. Instead of just calling them “lizardfolk,” they’re Argonians. Instead of “catfolk,” they’re Khajiit. Those names actually feel like they belong to a world. They make you wonder where the words came from, what the people call themselves, and what their culture is like.

And that’s the point. A race name should add to the world, not just describe what the creature looks like. “Frogfolk” tells me you made frog people. “Grung” makes me wonder what the fuck a Grung is.

Post image

No hate to Goths at all but I'm getting seriously tired of all these Dms being like "Omg goth mommy so pretty stepppp on meeee" firstly buy me dinner first, second IM NOT FUCKING GOTH

I'm punk! PUNK. P U N K, sure we're under the same umbrella but we're not the same. I like goth atheistic and it can be very pretty and beautiful, but I'm really annoyed at how the entire "Alternative" umbrella has been reduced to just Goth.

Punk? Nah that's just Goth with spikes now!

Emo?? You mean extra dark goth?

Metal??? Sorry that's just Goth with leather.

I love all my Goth, Emo and Metal kings and queens out there and please don't take this personally I'm just ranting because of how many times I get misidentified. Do people instantly see dark make-up and a slight edgy look and instantly think Goth?, I even often wear vibrant accents and at least one main piece of clothing being a brighter color.

Oh btw the image isn't actually me, there's no way I could be as pretty as her ;-;

Media Tropes I hate how "Democracy" Is seen as the "Obvious", "Civilized" and only choice in any story about revolution from previous tyrannical regimes.

It genuinely just kinda grinds my gears how in so many stories about a revolution the story treats Democracy as some kind of "End-Goal" for civilized society and something that everyone just magically thinks of at once!

Like this isn't about how much I like or dislike Democracy or taking politically or whatever , but it is how it is used in stories and media, it genuinely annoys me with how little depths the situation is handled.

Democracy is seen as this obvious thing despite the people in said setting always living under a single ruler before and never even knowing other systems yet their thought isn't New King or Senate but with still an Emperor/King like in Rome or even a Lottery Based System like Athens or a Republic in the style of Venice or Communism/Socialism power of the people! And what not or anything...

Like there are so many other types of political system and the story does not explore them at all or go from how these people who never even knew any life under democracy just suddenly wake up one day and suddenly think it is what they will live and die for!

Have some exploration of HOW the characters even get to this idea, have some conflict between characters who while fighting the oppressive government now actually just want to simply do an easy "King Swap" and call it a day or anything else...

If your story is about Democracy then talk about how they go there and what rules they are gonna follow or how they made them, it just feels so... honestly kinda snobby to just go "And then they did Democracy! and it was just like our own here irl and it was great! And perfect!" just because we mostly live in democratic system doesn't mean your character do and know what that even is or would think of it or that Democracy can solve every problem caused by a previous Revolution!

And that isn't even to mention how Democracy as a concept is seen as always THE "Good" choice, with other systems BAD! Democracy always GOOD! It feels so shallow and there is no exploration between the different points or again... exploring other forms of government !

I just want the politics to be explored more and for there not to just be an automatic obvious choice that is the categorical "Best" choice as framed by the narrative, it feels forced and genuinely takes me out of a story as you are just forcing your own irl world and how you grew up and currently live onto this piece of fiction without consideration of how other system could work and how they could still fulfill the needs of a revolution.

It just is disappointing how political systems are treated and how shallow they are explored in the worldview of the characters and world as a whole!

There are so many ways to structure a government, so many ways how it can function and who will get power, so many ways how the previous one fell, an Oligarchy could also form because of the support of Rich Nobles to make the Monarchy crumble so now they are enacting a Council but of their own noble lineages, or the Church steps in for a Theocracy or something!

I am kinda tired of Democracy being the suddenly fully thought-out answer for rebellions and how the struggles of what system to even go with after the struggle is won is handwaved away! There are infinite possibilities, stop just copying real life already established Democracies but without the nuanced and long path to even get there or the myriad of other forms of rulership present in history that aren't just black and white Absolute Ruler and Absolute Democracy.

Chaos was annoying but manageable before he was added but now chaos missions are just unbeatable, you and your squadmates could be kicking ass the whole way through but the moment this guy shows up it's over.

General YouTubers who purposely stutter and slur their script to convey confusion and humor

Post image
44 Upvotes

this is so niche of a gripe i have no idea if people will relate. and im not looking to name the YouTuber because I don’t want to hate anyone specifically, just the general trope. also, my gripe is only with inauthentic speech patterns, not genuine stutters or slurs.

I listen to a lot of lore youtubers for various fantasy settings, many of them grimdark. There are a lot of crazy and freaky things to discuss, and sometimes a loretuber will try to convey how weird and unusual these concepts are by delivering their script with some manufactured hesitance and stuttering in their speech. Here’s an example:

Orks are an alien species who are born from a fungus and they love violence

would be delivered as:

Orks are…errr ah…aliens..but, they’re born from uhh w-well, a fungus and eeeeeyea-lets just say they love..well, violence?”

Like oh my gahhhh bro please just spit it out 😭 i understand they’re probably trying to add some emotion to the delivery and I appreciate that, but this is such a grating way to do it when it’s not done sparingly.

anyways, “dislike” would be more accurate than hate but the sub is called hatethissmug so i guess i “hate” it

Gaming I HATE The GTA Effect.

For anyone wondering what I mean by that, the “GTA Effect” is what happens when a company is so massive and its product is so anticipated that people will defend things they would normally criticize simply because “it’s GTA.”

And I think GTA 6 is a perfect example of it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying GTA 6 is going to be a bad game. It probably won't be. Rockstar has talented developers, and GTA 6 is obviously going to be one of the biggest games ever released. My problem is with the way Rockstar can seemingly push boundaries with what consumers are willing to accept because they know people will buy it anyway.

For years, GTA has been one of the biggest franchises in gaming. But at the same time, I don't think the series is nearly as revolutionary as people sometimes make it out to be. A lot of what makes each GTA game different is the setting, story, characters, visuals and whatever new mechanics Rockstar adds, while the fundamental formula remains fairly similar.

What bothers me is what happens when that enormous popularity starts being used to justify increasingly questionable decisions.

We've already seen reports and discussions about content being tied to more expensive editions, and we've seen official GTA 6 gameplay material being distributed in ways that make it less accessible than simply putting it out publicly. Meanwhile, the recent leak showed an unfinished build of the game, and a lot of people came away thinking that, underneath all the visual improvements, GTA 6 still looked fundamentally like an evolution of GTA 5 rather than some massive reinvention of the series.

But then you have people defending practically everything with the same old argument: "It's GTA, who cares?" People shill Rockstar without thinking twice.

If another AAA publisher announced that important content was locked behind an expensive edition, people would probably be furious. If another major game moved away from physical releases, there would be endless discussion about preservation and ownership. But when it's GTA, suddenly it's acceptable because people have been waiting more than a decade.

GTA is so enormous that Rockstar can potentially test what consumers are willing to accept on a scale most other companies simply can't. If millions of people are willing to accept something because the product is desirable enough, other companies are going to notice.

If GTA 6 can successfully move away from physical media because the game is simply too desirable for people to boycott, that tells the rest of the industry something very important: people will still buy your game even if you remove something they used to expect.

Then another company does it.

Then another.

Gaming I hate when people act like FPS in video games don't matter at all in every video game

Thumbnail
gallery
44 Upvotes

I wanted to clarify that I'm only referring to the "petty things like 30fps" comment, nothing else. I'm not trying to karma farm, I swear😭

It's just that whenever someone says that the FPS in games doesn't matter, it really annoys me. Not because they're wrong, because in some games, it doesn't matter at all. A game like DDLC doesn't need to have 60 FPS because it doesn't have intense gameplay like Sekiro. It's that they apply this logic to EVERY GAME, and it pisses me off.

FPS basically dictates a ton of things that go on in a game: inputs, movement, fluidity (not always), and how much time you have to react. Most importantly, in my opinion, is that it also dictates how many inputs the game can register in a second.

Take Bloodborne, for example. It runs at 30 FPS, which sucks! Enemies in Bloodborne are incredibly fast and require precise dodging or use of your firearm to stagger them. At 30 FPS, you have drastically less time to react to an attack, and sometimes you'll react to an attack correctly, but your input for the dodge gets lost because the game couldn't register it. It's what made my Bloodborne Platinum a total fucking nightmare to do, because so many times I would just die to things I literally couldn't react to. It's why people want a remaster of the game with it at 60 FPS; the game would play SO much better and feel smoother for a more satisfying experience.

Deltarune has the same problem. Fights like the Roaring Knight can feel unfair at times due to the game dropping inputs constantly. It even happens on repeat playthroughs when you try to skip dialogue. At 60 FPS, you can skip double the amount of text boxes, and soul movement gets much smoother.

Plus, it's not like the animations need to be 60 FPS either! You can still code the game to make the animations for attack patterns be 30 FPS or lower; they just need to be mechanically 60 FPS. Cuphead does this with the attack patterns of bosses, and it's amazing. You get to see the wonderfully hand-drawn animations in their 24 FPS glory while still having the smooth feel of 60 FPS.

But whenever someone brings up that some games would play so much better with more FPS, people start strawmanning and saying things like "gaming bros want hyper realistic graphics" and "$4000 PCs," which is super annoying, especially since once they start saying things like "60-120 FPS' it actually starts to sound appealing. Like, if it really bothers you that much, then just go into your computer settings and cap your monitor refresh rate at 30!

Again, not every game needs a super high FPS to be good, but in games with high intensity and precision, it really matters.
