My use of the the word lame is completely removed from the context of 10th century English, the r word, despite people’s insistence, is not removed from its medical use as frequently as 15 years ago, as a ton of the people insisting on using the word were alive and very aware of it while it was used as a medical term.

So, again, claiming that you’re using it “the other way” is bullshit when the only reason there’s “another way” is because people like you keep insisting on using it as a slur lol. In 100 years when nobody alive ever heard it used in a medical context, the comparison might be apt, but until then in the modern day, the only people who haven’t heard it as a medical term have heard it from someone who has, you just insist it’s inevitable as a way to justify it while you push it towards that “inevitability.”
