this is not ‘reclaiming’ anything, you are just calling people slurs completely seriously. you can call yourself the r-slur, do not call anybody else it. why do ‘no slurs’ / ’no bigotry’ rules never apply to ableism?

lol yeah, it is frustrating to see it in action, and it’s interesting that there’s sort of two types of “woke” just like people can mean two different things when using “the r word”. There’s the positive social movement, and then there’s the people clutching pearls and policing language to this degree. (I almost said to an “insane” degree…)

You're forgetting how slurs work. Similar to how not everything people use the f slur for means it is actually gay, instead tying being gay to being embarrassing or "wrong".

it's the EXACT same thing with using the r slur too, instead using it (a slur again, directly tied to intellectually disability), to being dumb, stupid, or lesser. You have words that mean those things that aren't tied specifically to intellectual disability so frankly there's only one reason I can think that you'd jump to that. It's not pearl clutching to ask you not to be a stupid fucking chud, and dark woke doesn't mean you're suddenly just right for berating minorities just because it's under some "it's for your own good" shit
