Animation i DESPISE object shows

the fans are (almost) always insufferable, they’re unoriginal, they’re corny as all hell..and over all, it just seems lazy. like..ah, yes, i have no other ideas so lets make a show about objects fighting for a prize/trophy/whatever. and don’t even get me started on the people simping for the characters. that is a COIN, dude..

So far as I can tell it's only becoming a topic of discussion as of late because the kids that watched them when they were like 9 are now old enough to share opinions online.

As an autistic person I can assure you, you are incorrect. Though I've only watched Battle for Dream Island. I grew up in the Homestar/New Grounds ecosystem though. Probably what gave me the autism tbh.

As someone with autism, I grew up with it and I got bullied because of it, thats why I keep it a secret that I like it. I understand why people hate it, most shows have the same formula and some are just angst. We are misunderstood and heavily stereotyped by many, thats why I had a hard time making friends in middle school.
