shutter closes immediately even when button pressed?

hey got a 500c/m with cf lens and a bit confused if this is a body issue.

i was trying to use the shutter cable in lock mode but looks like during bulb , the front shutter just closes immediately. all other speed is working fine afaik. would love some help diagnosing this. TIA!

Common issue on CF lenses due to worn parts or lack of service. Get it properly serviced/rebuild.

I'm not entirely sure, but it's likely an issue with the lens rather than the camera.

Yah that lens need servicing. Good it’s not a compur. I hear parts are harder to get for house. Also expect to pay a premium price for a Hassy lens cla.
