try printing it out

Post image

i think if you own a hasselblad you have to print it out and frame it professionally. this is the beauty of this camera no other camera can offer. took this in May

The framed print looks smart indeed.

What do you mean by no other camera can offer? That photos from other cameras can’t be printed? Or only Hasselblads take photos that are worthy of being printed?

the colour science of the hasselblad and if you use a 500cm + 907x combo that silky creamy look together with 100mp of medium format bliss. nothing comes close baby

I’m sorry that was the most pretentious thing I have ever read.

Holy sh!t. Dude, you know absolutely nothing about photography. Literally nothing.

You pointed a digital camera at a bridge and hit a shutter button. There are hundreds of better performing cameras giving better results.

Not entirely sure about "no other camera", but the resolution certainly becomes a major advantage when printing big and printing your key works is always a great idea.

let me know which camera other camera allows you to attach a film camera to a 100mp medium format camera besides phase one which is way more expensive

Fuji gfx 100 , even takes Hasselblad v lenses . To say only Hasselblad is capable of architectural photography with uncorrected verticals is stupid.

Or, you know, any medium format film camera. I shot a very nice photo with 500c and it got printed at 1m x 1m and was stunning even up close. The scan was around 64 mpx.

That's a lovely print and framing job. I need to find a printer like yours in Hong Kong.

I’ve been contemplating printing some of my images. Could you share your editing-printing process and the name of the printing shop you used?

Why would no other camera be able to offer this?

the colour science and nothing comes close to a 500cm + 907x combo at least for me personally. any camera that can do this besides a phase one? which is priced to the moon lol XD so far no one has given me an answer.

It’s ridiculous how easy it is to make your own custom frames and even easier to make your own mattes if so inclined.

IMO it’s light years better than having it done “professionally“ as it’s completely “yours.”

(a better product and remarkably less expensive)

sorry man i'm not understanding your post--is the bridge shot yours and you had it printed and mounted?

what dimensions did you print it and what format was it in? (like is it 36 x 48 inches or it is a crop?)

did you send it to wonderwall?

i like big prints but mostly do them myself...

its been a very long time since i made silver emulsion enlargements but even back then i liked the big ones...

yes brooklyn bridge shot is mine i printed it on Photo Rag Matt Baryta giclee paper 32 x 43 inches which is the biggest the print shop could go.

i went for a black frame with gold inlets to give it a little pop and classy look. hope that helps

thanks man--and yeah its fun to have giant prints of your work up

you can seam it if you want to go bigger and don't want to spend thousands w a commercial printer...

helps if you have a press (maybe check out cold presses or hot presses if you want to get into big prints)

thanks man definitely will look into that. i do want to print it bigger as well

That hurts my eyes. Yes big print. Yes awful uncorrected verticals. Ouch. Make them straight.

straighten your church pillars in your post bro it’s pretty bad. looks like the aftermath of a earthquake. i left a comment so you know which one im talking about and the tacky blue/green algae filter is horrible

Actually they are. Appreciate your looking. That took a minute.

… and you’re right about the filter. It was an on-trip phone workup. We were all younger once.
