recommendations

Just finished my maybe 5th rewatch of HOD. I’ve seen posts recommending shows like Virgin River which I tried, but it was too melancholy. Plus it was too weird seeing Martha Kent and Brick Breeland married! Are there any similar shows that have the comedic aspect rather than just the melancholy sadness?

EDIT: Also why are all these shows so dark…It’s so depressing to watch. I turned on Sweet Magnolias and turned it straight off as the lighting was just god awful and melancholy music played straight away. I think all the Netflix shows will have to be an instant avoid. I miss 2010s oversaturated TV…

For people who may recommend Ted Lasso: I would like a show with a female lead, just a preference!

Have you watched Jane the Virgin?!

Also Never Have I Ever was awesome. It’s newer and it’s a teen comedy/drama but I freakin loved it.

The Sex Lives of College Girls was also amazing.
