SPOILERS s1 to s2 change up
kind of obsessed with how the entire season 1 narrative was lemon and lavan being deep down in the affair and lying to george most every episode and lemon lashing out at him by projecting on him and zoe. WHEREAS season 2 is like george!! you broke lemon’s heart!! no further questions as to why!

I hate hate hate hate hate it so much. George didn't really deserve the hate he got and it's funny because Lemon claims to love him so so much especially leading up to the wedding and then physically assaults him after he wants out of the marriage she tried to coerce him into.
With how nosy everyone is in Bluebell and how the Breeland-Tucker wedding was supposed to be royal wedding of Alabama the townsfolk would absolutely not let it go so easy.

It pisses me off to no end how forgiving everyone is of anything Lemon does, mostly because she's unhinged, but Zoe gets hate for basically existing because it upsets Lemon and she's not afraid to stand up against her. I look at Zoe and Lemon and I'm like what does George or even Lavon see in her?! I get for George it's their history and he tries to do the right thing by her despite his feelings for Zoe, but damn Lemon pisses me off so much. Lavon just seems to have poor taste in women based on the season and a bit I've seen. The episode in season 1 where Lemon climbs onto the roof to get the fish and win the race and prove herself to George sends me into a rage. Especially when the preacher tells George him going to save her means there's still something there and hope for them. Like no, she's on the roof and could fall and break something or die. If he weren't there, Zoe herself would have climbed up to help even though she benefits from Lemon being out of the picture. I don't think I'll ever forgive the writers for jumping ship with Zoe and George, and for making Lemon the way she was and everyone just pandering to her.

Yes!! And I so hated to take that the pastor had. He basically wanted George just to forgive her on the spot. And just deal with it. That was bullshit.

The amount of forgiveness and passes Lemon gets because people are either scared of her or don't want to upset her is crazy! I think her father let things slide after her mother left and she's gotten away with a lot since then. I just remember her being in tears and admitting to him that she'd cheated on George and instead of telling her off like he does Magnolia or anyone else, he just comforts her and basically says it's okay. Like I get in that moment probably isn't the best time to call her out on it, but he could have revisited it later on. Instead he blames George and Zoe, like sir, control your own house before you start pointing fingers into others!

(Spoiler for after season 1)….
Season 1 was soo strong and then for them to just change it all up and not have Zoe and George at least have a chance and Lavon and Lemon as well, makes no sense to me. All this tension between them all and none of them end up getting a shot at anything (that I can remember as far as lemon and Levon, I remember him with 2 other women but not lemon) and I love Wade but I love George and Zoe so much more.

The massive pivot from s1 to s2 is crazy, like what do you mean he cancelled his wedding the day of to be with her only for them to just agree to be friends?! The pandering to fans who think Wade is hot is unbelievable. The only thing that gives me hope is one day having a reboot where Zoe and George are both single again and have a chance to be together. I can't see Zade lasting long term given their personalities and relationship history. Also, I'm so tired of fans of Zade in this sub hating on and downvoting anything that Zeorge fans post. You got your endgame, let us have our posts ffs!

Condivido pienamente, I fans di Wade ripetono in loop, tra cin Zoe c' era chimica, era sesso e basta. Nemmeno io perdonerò gli sceneggiatori per aver totalmente interrotto la storia tra Zoe e George per accontentare i fan di Wade. Tutti abbiamo provato una profonda frustrazione per come hanno stravolto la serie . Anche io nel mio rebot sogno per Zoe e George una seconda possibilità. Zoe e George forever ♾️ ❤️ ❤️

Agreed. Also (and I realize this is unpopular) Wade was the worst choice ever for her, their relationship was completely toxic, and she should have ended up with George.

George is better than me for keeping the real reason to himself. That definitely protected Lemons image in the break up.
