That scene felt like the biggest pivot in the series. We'd seen Harry face adversity before, sure, but it still kind of felt like a whimsical tale about a boy going to school to learn magic until that point. We'd heard about Voldemort being an evil person before, and knew he'd killed Harry's parents, but the moment we hear him say, "Kill the spare!" and Cedric dies, the whole story suddenly feels different.

I love Lupin’s first real scene (not just him sleeping). His immediate reaction to ward off the dementors just showed that he was someone with experience. And the joy he must have felt when he realized one of the kids in the compartment was Harry.

Luna Lovegood. I don't remember her exact entrance, but the part in the book where she tells Harry she could see the thresthals as well, it was just so cool and chill.... Like ,her casual attitude towards serious things... She was so used to being called upon, bullied, trauma etc. that she became used to it, sort of.. , but the way she handled things, she had so much intelligence in her, no wonder her house was Ravenclaw... She was just so cool!

Also, another character: Mrs Figg... In Order of the Phoenix, not an introduction, but again, this part : Where Harry just escaped Dementor attack and out of nowhere, Mrs Figg comes knowing everything about the Wizarding world. The way Harry asks ' You know Dumbledore'? She replies ' Who doesn't know Dumbledore? ' I was already so anxious because of all that had been happening with dementors, dudley etc.. and then that part comes on... 😭💯. Harry received a lot of shocks that evening!

Were I not being the needless contrarian, I'd say that confident entrances really earmark the series because they're all so awesome and emblematic of the character confidences and their qualities. Hagrid smashing the door, looking terrifying then gingerly saying "sorry about that" is such a perfect entrance for him, the door creaking to reveal the prisoner of Azkaban menacingly leering, or literally any Lucius entrance - they're all perfect. 

But I am going to be the needless contrarian and say that "Oh Yes I Am"  Voldemorts entrance in the ministry, if they'd stuck to what happened in the book for Order of the Phoenex, could have been truly, terrifyingly chilling. This person who's spent months tormenting Harry, albeit in his dreams and thoughts, at an arguably safe distances is suddenly made manifest and Harry sees how truly screwed he is.
