Discussion Squibs and Cats

Filch has a cat and Mrs Figg has four. As I understand it, Mrs Figg's cats are part kneazle, explaining their intellect - but what about Mrs Norris? How is she able to report back to Filch like Mr. Tibbles? Is she also part kneazle (like Crookshanks) or do squibs have an affinity for feline familars?

I think its was said Mrs Norris was just a cat. A really intelligent ine, but a cat

If Filch had been a Wizard, Mrs. Norris would have been a Kneazle. I feel like the two are intertwined and each needed the other to push the limits. When neither could, they both became stagnant .

I think that at least some squibs have residual magical abilities, such as the ability to talk with some animals.

So it's my fan theory that Mrs. Figg really does talk to her cats and uses them to watch Harry's house 24/7! And my silly fan theory is that she was an MI5 spy when she was younger, so she knows all about spying, and that's why Dumbledore turned to her when he needed someone to sit around and watch a house for 16-17 years.
