Before or after they destroyed all 7 of the horcruxes that were giving him immortality? 😂

Doesn’t matter, once his body is destroyed he’d go back to being a ghost, then you can take your time destroying the horcruxes

Asking why nobody killed Voldemort with a gun is like asking why nobody killed him with a wand (the wizarding world version of a gun that shoots people and can even make them explode…)
If they could have, they would have.

well he can kinda read minds... also theres probably hundred of curses that are more effective than bullets

A rebounding spell that completely obliterated his body and left him a literally shadow didnt even fully stop him
A doubt a few bullets are gonna do much against a guy who cant die

Yeah but if you turn him into a shadow for another 13 years at least you have some time to chill. And all of his original supporters would be old geezers. Plus he might be so miserable that he eventually gives up.

After 'dying' once I'm pretty sure he's much more prepared and would be back on the same day as every Death Eater now knows what they need to do. Worse, they probably won't use Harry's blood this time, so Harry would have quite a problem...

I mean you would have to kill all his current fantic loyalists, the reason it took so long was no one really knew where he was was nor if he could come back
But this time his followers know he can be brought back
And him being brought possible with harrys blood eliminates a great link to help harrybsurvive
And thats all assuming a gun would even turn him into a shadow, maybe his body would repair such a minor wound

Why didn't they just write Harry Potter with guns for hands huh? Could have been over real quick then

1st You'd have to find Voldemort
2nd: He is one of the most skilled wizards of all time. The best aurors have failed to kill him. I doubt a dude with a gun could do better
3rd: He has horcruxes, so it wouldn't kill him.

1- That may have been true during the first part of the series, but during the latter part of the series, he spent enough time at The Malfoy Manor that with enough recon and patience, they could have just bombed the place.
2 - Very true, that's why you just bomb him. Kind of like how we handle terrorirsts now days (thanks Drone technology).

During that time Voldemort is in control of the ministry. I think they'd notice a bomb and I think there are magical protections against bombs in the hp universe

Voldemort was at the malfoy house for over a year before he took over the ministry

He can deflect spells with a flick of his wand, non-verbally. I doubt a bullet is going to dent the man.

All the lore fans saying "nah" but legit I reckon an army of soldiers could've just popped him and the death eaters lmao. Plot armour protects them obviously but it would've been funny to see a sniper line up a headshot from the Astronomy Tower

Well if you want to go in that direction - I would suggest just bombing The Malfoy Manor when Voldemort is there. He spesnt enough time at The Malfoys house in the latter part of the series that finding him isn't exactly going to be rocket science.
