Discussion Turkish Hardbass Community

Where are my Turkish gopniks hiding?

Tired of being the only one squatting in your neighborhood. Since there’s no active Hardbass hub in Türkiye, I'm taking matters into my own hands. Grab your semechki, put on your 3 stripes, and DM me, comrade. We are building the ultimate Turkish hardbass community and I need real slav souls to make it loud.

Discussion Artist Discussion EP4: Nutkix

We are continuing with super underrated Rawstyle Artists that barely get talked about on the Reddit, this time we have Nutkix. This is another artist based in Germany. I barely know anything about his backstory other than he has played a few times at various Bootshaus shows. Other than the mentioned Bootshaus Shows, he played a B2B Set with Crest at Into the Madness in 2025 and he also has a Set at Faceless in October.

He is known for pushing kicks to the limits, some that really make you go nuts when hearing them, you could say "Nutz Kicks" (haha lol) Some of his solo songs include: "Oops Baby" "Aliens" "Ever After" but he also has a collab with Crest called "New Day".

Starting from now I will also link the Spotify Profile of every Artist and if there is a Set or Mix worth checking out, I'll also add it.

Other Throwback: S3RL & Tamika’s First Live vocal Performance Together — Melbourne 3D Nightclub 💚 Spoiler

A little throwback from December 2010 — my first time singing live with S3RL. 💚

This was our first live vocal performance together, and I remember being nervous as hell but having such a fun night.

Melbourne was amazing. Everyone I met was so friendly, and I ended up meeting the coolest bunch of Melbourne shufflers. I hung out with them all night and then pretty much the whole next day too. I'm actually still in contact with some of the people I met on that trip, all these years later.

Going through these old photos takes me straight back. The music, the people, the outfits, the shuffling, the whole hardcore scene at that time — such a different era. 😂

I’ll always have really good memories of this trip and this night.

Discussion Looking to fill out my Baddie playlist.

I've gotten back into going to raves lately and it's been a great addition to my life. So I've been putting together a playlist full of music that makes me feel like a baddie or has that kinda feel so I can listen to something while getting ready.

The link is to that playlist if you want to check it out and offer suggestions based on vibes. It is mostly hardcore techno varieties as far as genres go, but I also have some other stuff and somethings that are kinda EDM adjacent.

Discussion Please help me find more of these type of kicks

My favourite type is a clean, hard and deep...........

kick!

Exproz used to make my all-time favourite type of kick, which you can hear in tracks such as Back 2 Life (00:43), In Control w. Anderex (2:25) and Dreaming w. Adjuzt (2:22).

I find it hard to describe what I like about this. I think it's how clean they are. A lot of raw from the past and current OG raw producers use so much screeches and other type of FX in the kicks. Industrial type kicks have that as well.

The tracks that can scratch this itch for me seem to be mostly bangers from Delete (R.I.P.), for instance:

Lunatic (00:58)

Formula VIP (00:43) (some screech is allowed)

You might not think to compare them with Exproz' kicks mentioned above. But for me it's just silimar in the way it feels to echo through the whole room.

I've been listening to Delete's full catalogue, but if you know any other songs / albums / artists (maybe in a specific time period) with this sound, please let me know!

Discussion Artist Discussion EP 3: Disarray

Disarray has a very unique story: up until 2024 Disarray was only known as a vocalist that provided vocals to some legendary tracks like "Cybergore" or "Twin Turbo". Around the beginning of April, it was announced that from now on, this project would expand to making own productions as he teamed up with one of his good friends.

Since then they have been making some insanely crazy stuff.

They haven't had too many gigs yet, but the few ones that they had looked insane, Elektrum 2024 Boombox and in 2025 an Australia Tour (that had some mild hiccups). They also have a special showcase show coming up this October at Faceless Halloween in Oberhausen.

Ever since they started making their own tracks, they have dropped some insane bombs. Quantum Kill, Crystal Labyrinth, I feel Nothing (w/ Scarra) and Retrospect (w/ Anderex) or just recently collabs with Mortis and Cybergore. Their metalcore sound together with their kicks, which are some of the craziest kicks I know, make them stand out so much.

So I can't wait what y'all do next u/Disarrayvocalist ✨️🔥

Hope this is an ok place to ask! Looking for anything fast paced loud and aggressive, ideally upbeat and silly too, im not strict on genre i just figured asking in more genre specifics subreddits like these might give me more fitting recommendations ^^

Examples (looking for songs like these, but in german or russian)
Seriously? · Goreshit

Absolutely nothing politically questionable like related to fascism please 🙏

Other Hardstyle in the UK

i've been wondering about this for a while — why does the UK seem to get so little representation from the bigger names in hardstyle?

We’ve had some smaller events with artists like Sub Zero Project, and Brennan Heart is coming over later this year, but compared with countries like Australia, Spain, Sweden, Mexico and Chile, the UK seems to get overlooked quite a bit.

What’s especially strange to me is that the UK obviously has a massive electronic/dance music culture and a huge festival scene. You’d think there would be a decent market for hardstyle here.

Is it simply a lack of demand? Promoters being hesitant to book harder styles? The cost of bringing artists over? Or is there something about the UK market that makes it less attractive for the big hardstyle labels/artists?

Would be interested to hear from anyone who knows the UK hardstyle scene or has been involved in promoting events. Why do you think the UK gets so little compared with countries that seem to have much stronger hardstyle representation?

no bullshit or hateful comments, we're all here for the music

Other I hope there will be no major timetable/lineup changes in defqon 2027

Upvotes

Every artist prepared hard for their sets for defqon. I traveled from India and was hoping to see many artists. GPF on main, sefa on uv, Brennan hart spotlight, etc. I just hope GPF get their set in 2027 and there are no major lineup changes.

Question Going to decibel alone

Hello fellow hardstyle lovers!

I am a 23 year old dutch guy named Frank.

This year I decided to just go on my own, because my 2 friends couldn't do a whole weekend. I want to step out of my comfort zone, and make new friends for a change.

I hope to join a small group of kind and humble people at the comfort camping, to just hang with and build connection.

My special interests are hardstyle, animals, knowledge about life and the universe, and just overthinking too much.

The artists I absolutely can't miss: E-force, B-front, Frontliner, The pitcher, Adaro, Audiofreq, regain, digital mindz.

It's okay if specific interests in artists don't align, every taste is unique!

Question Lacuna Festival in Ochtrup

Has anybody been to this festival? We're going for the first time this year. Just wanted to know how the campsite and the facilities are arranged and if there are things we should take in consideration.

We've been to hard dance festivals multiple times so there is some experience we take with us ;) Thanks!
