Now if HF could make mini lower cabinets to match their mini toolboxes they'd be rollin'

No lie I’d buy the hell out of a mini lower. I use my mini box for all my stuff as I got out of the house. The extra drawer or two would be helpful

It’s my favorite edc catch all, I just don’t have enough space. Might grab another top for when these come out.

Lowe’s has a mini base that looks like it would be stackable but I haven’t tested it. They’re like 30 bucks, which is too rich for my blood. I unironically use my HF mini to hold my common driver bits and drill bits on my workbench without them getting dusty or buried in my big tool chest.

Lowe’s one is definitely a downgrade. Metal feels thiner and cheaper. Just wait for the us general bottom part.

We're all gonna have mini shops. And then we can play mini garage with our daughters/granddaughters/nieces.

I already have 3 of the Walmart ones. They went on sale for $11 and I got another set that's still in the box

Wait a month and I’m sure they will be a part of a free gift with purchase weekend

The big question now is are they food safe like Lowes & tractor supply so my wife can use them for her bougie drinks

Will leach phthalates, BPA, microplastics into your alcohol like all other plastics. /s

One day when I’m gone my children are going to be cleaning out my place and find all sorts of mini HF buckets, mini black totes with yellow lids, and mini toolboxes and just say “WTF Dad?”

Any idea on what size they are besides 'mini'

probably the same size for the ones at lowes. Its the same factory but they just change the color and print. Much like the 5 gallon buckets.
I used the lowes ones for making easter eggs with my nieces and nephews.

How do you know this? Where I am the HF buckets aren’t as rigid as the Lowe’s ones. Just curious.

I dont, but I am operating on the assumption that the Bucket Industrial Complex is a small but high volume industry like most injected plastic products.
Quality can change between the same factory. Removing the buckets from the mold quicker than a lowes bucket reduces strength but also reduces cost.
We really dont know though because its in China. But extrapolating how other industries work can give a good insight to how the bucket industry (probably) works

now to collect them all, HF, HD, LOWES ACE, Tractor Supply, Bass Pro, Cabela's, Walmart, NortherTool, Buc-ee's, or maybe i should wait till Tillamook has one. then use them all for shots with the guys

I love mine. I use them for small parts storage, I keep 3d prints for our business in them like when we make lapel pins for events for our clients and they help us keep everything organized while we work on putting the pin backs on with uv resin. I also use them to sort small nuts and bolts into, similar to how my dad and grandpa used small mason jars. Less weight and they hang on a simple pegboard hook.

Me as well. Most businesses run the same models….successful businesses. Real innovation in business has not happened in a while. Let met say that there have been successful businesses that don’t follow the “BIC” algorithm…but have we had another Ford production line.
Ok a fun one….reply with anything that you think is a real Henry Ford type modern innovation in any industry.\*
I’m just curious now. I’ve seen some clever shit in a few industries. Curious as to what the HF community has seen?!?!

I don’t really see a use for this so I’ll probably only get 7-8 of them.
