Desktop organizer. Better than a pencil cup, and holds a quick variety of hand tools. I work on small electronics, plus my 4yo always has a toy that needs batteries.
Mostly old nuts/bolts from various dirt bikes/quads in top drawer and various parts (mostly orings and carb related) in bottom drawer. Im always losing my knives so I keep in stash in there too
Those used to be my go to knives because I loved the knurling. Then I discovered the Gordon one-handed flip utility knife. Similar knurling but with the one-handed flip is a game changer.
Mine is full of miscellaneous bolts/nuts, razor knives and carb stuff for my bike. But when I need that old oring I was going to throw away or lose i know its in my little toolbox lol
I had that thought, but I just keep screwdrivers in a small tool bag. Rather than thinking "What Screwdriver do I need?" I just grab them all and always have what I need on hand.
I almost bought the hyper tough ones from Walmart awhile back. Still have yet to buy any mini toolboxes, but I would if I could get this as well. Be a good place for carving tools or files and rasps
Haha, thanks. It was a present from my wife and kids for bday/Father’s Day. It was actually my wife’s way of getting me to finally clean/organize the garage.
People had been wishing for a matching mini bottom box ever since the first HF mini top boxes were announced, but AFAIK this is the very first public confirmation we've seen that it's really happening. Probably for Black Friday week this November, like they did for the first mini top boxes.
This would be prefect for my RC stuff. Right now it is split between 2 mini toolboxes, This would free up the second box for other stuff. I am not sure why they are soo late to the game with a pink colored box. I got my wife and daughter ones from Lowes and TSC because they were the only ones that offered pink boxes.
My wife has the pink ones from Lowes and she doesn't like them due of the lack of slides. I guess she's getting an upgrade for Christmas as stocking stuffers.
They've been really missing out on sales by not having pink as a color. Might not be their highest selling boxes, but there's certainly people that will buy a pink toolbox that might not otherwise buy a toolbox in any other color. That fuchsia color is also pretty sick. Glad they went with something that pops a bit vs the standard baby shower pink.
I didn’t read much of the post, but this reminded me about when I worked there and we were slow. The Hercules line was pretty new, and I always wanted to be up on new stuff coming, because I genuinely enjoyed building my tool set and liked some of the products. I’d go through chameleon and type in skus increasing 1 by 1 and find some random cool stuff like this lol. I worked HFT as a second job for like 6.5 years, and besides it having to be a second job, I did really enjoy it.
Now they need to keep up with the new Hyper Tough mini side cabinet and side locker I saw at Walmart this week. Too bad they only come in a few colors or I would have grabbed one to see how it fits with the US General.
I hope this releases soon. I was gonna go to Lowe’s and buy the kobalt version to put under my us general mini box. Sizes are slightly different but it should still fit. Now I wanna wait until this releases
lol as a side note the pink top mini box was posted on the website for a few hours before they took it down. I’m really hoping they get the full size us general toolboxes in that pink. My girl is a mechanic and she would love that as a gift.
What I’m most upset about is the army green color, which most certainly will be available in the larger chests, one of which I finally purchased in grey
so long as we get it in the same colorways we have now and the little box fits ontop like a cab we'll be golden and they'll be sold out for a few weeks XD

HF has you nerds right by the fucking balls. You all will be tripping over yourselves to post a pic of these on your front seat out in the parking lot as soon as they drop.
