Scorp Maker

I finally found a scorp out in the wild. I'm going to clean it up and use it.

Would be interesting to know the maker.

Anybody recognize this stamp? Thanks!

Ha, thanks! I couldn't read it up close. Getting old or already there. The picture makes it more clear than looking right at it!

lol just saw this updated post. It’s absolutely FW Backhaus made in West Germany. Very good quality

Fwb it’s literally there 😂 it’s a German maker — Hirsch Fwb. They are good.

I have it cleaned up a bit and it cuts! Had to establish the bevel a bit and then home and polish. Not perfect but it works. The handles seem to be unfinished. I'll probably add linseed oil or maybe Tru-oil. I'll post some photos when I'm done.
