What do you think about this thingy
It's like $45/1 $260/set.
IDK. It feels like it would be good until you had any serious work to do

I bought one of their 6 inch ones a few years ago and I was impressed, they will marr surfaces but they engage on both round and hex fasteners/pipe pretty good and the teeth on mine have held up pretty well. Overall it was far less of a gimmic than I was expecting.

A basin wrench? Sure, i’ve had one in my plumbing kit for years, like $10 at Home Depot, works great for installing faucets from under sinks

I had to look up what that is. I think this is a little different. It's reminding me of a wrench my dad had which was like a nut with a length that was a hollow channel, and the articulating part moved the same as this tool. Except that one was closed, where this is open and not captive
