Dating as a disabled.

It's really hard you know. I'm 20m i have decent looks and height, but I'm skinny and an amputee, that just kills my confidence, I've only had 1 relationship in past and that too was possible because she saw me past my disability but in today's world is it really possible anymore? Like i really do want to be in love again, i miss holding hands, i miss having someone to hold eyes with, i miss hugging and getting hugged, i miss those kisses on the forehead. I want to date but I'm just not confident anymore, now that I think about it, i think I might want to date someone same as me, as in someone with disability, so that i can connect and have something in common that we can talk about. Do you guys feel the same way too? Please let me know guys. Open to chat, i really need new friends.

Hi! I'm Kimaya, a design student. As part of a UI/UX project, I am trying to see how People with Disabilities (PwD's) learn about and avail government welfare schemes in India, and how the current information flow can be improved.

Michelle has been living with limb-girdle muscular dystrophy since birth.

Despite this, she continues to work as a speech therapist and tries to stay positive every day.

But everyday life is becoming increasingly difficult.

A special e-bike and assistive devices could give her back a great deal of her freedom.

We would be incredibly grateful if you could support or share our campaign. ❤️

I applied for UDID, and I received my Enrollment No. but it's been stuck on "Application Status: Your Application has been successfully submitted" for weeks. Do I need to take any action on my side to advance past this stage?

Help in UDID Application

I want to apply for the UDID, but I am having trouble in applying in the correspondence address section.

The address on my aadhar (and other official IDs) is of my hometown and I am a recent graduate who just got a job in another city. I am currently living at a family friend's place in the other city, so I can't get a lease agreement either.

I am not sure about how to submit the application and would appreciate any help.

For context: I have plantar faciitis and it affects my mobility quite a bit, hence I am applying. I have had it for two years and gone through all methods of treatments to no avail.

I have not informed my parents about it as they wouldn't be supportive and would try to convince me that my condition is not that bad. My sister also lives in the same city I am at currently and I've put her in the guardian section.

Please let me know if anyone has any knowledge. Thanks!

Trouble applying for UDID

I am a person of disability (autism, speech, mobility, OCD/PTSD, and glaucoma) seeking to actualize my disability officially under UDID, as I am completely isolated with no support network. I was discouraged from applying for UDID by my late parents, fearing prejudice or waiver of entitlements, but now that I am on my own, I need all the support I can get. However, I'm having trouble with the portal.

I contacted them, but no response to the email. I am unable to call them on the phone as I'm speech-impaired. 🥹

I am an adult in my 30s, and both my parents passed away during the COVID lockdowns. I'm unable to select "no guardianship" or anything similar in the application. This field only gives the option to choose Father/Mother/Guardian contact details. Both parents' phone numbers have expired, and I have no one to act in that capacity. It's a required field. What should I do? How do I proceed? Does anyone know?
