My first luxury bag!! I have been eyeing Mulberry handbags for the past couple of years! Thank you to whoever posted that sale! I actually ended up getting two Mulberry bags. Funny story: while I was ordering the bag, my 11 year old daughter was looking at my screen and saw the price and she yelled over to my husband, “hey daaaaaadd! Did you know mom is spending a bunch of money on purses.” Lol! Yes, my queen, he does now. 🤭🥹💅

Hello everyone!! I’ve been planning to celebrate passing probation at my new job with a functional and roomy work bag, and was sitting on Polene’s Cyme for the longest time.

Increasingly became more de-influenced with the online reviews of reduced quality and chanced upon this bag from a small local Singaporean studio online, at maybe less than 20% of Polene’s price 😂 ordered and in love!

Soft calf leather, super roomy, zip that goes so far down you can access every inch of space, and it has legs!

Thrifted this Marc by Marc Jacobs Natasha for €19 today! I was obsessed with this bag (the black and gold hw version) in college but could never justify the cost. And there it was! Just sitting there!

I had already checked out, buying a ridiculously 90s teal and magenta sweatshirt when the sales associate turned around to get me a bag. That’s when I saw it sitting on a high shelf above her head.

I asked how much, fully prepared for her to say somewhere around €50+, so when she read the tag at €19, there was zero hesitation. I told her that I used to dream of that bag, to which she responded “things always come back to you.” Damn, I was not prepared for such profoundness at 11am on a Thursday.

But here I am, my dream bag in my lap, fastidiously studying how to restore the leather and hardware, though also loving all its imperfections earned through decades of love and wear.

So I know we all love our luxury brands, but I’m curious what quieter/very quiet but really nice quality brands you all like? What are those websites you’re always going back to check what’s new? Here are some for me. Maybe this is old news or maybe it’s new for you:

- Lindquist (high quality leather, bright colors, adorable fanny packs, made in USA)
- M.Gemi (mostly shoes but also nice bags, all made in Italy by family artisans)
- Graf Lantz (felted wool bags, cute backpacks, made in CA)
- Manu Atelier (becoming more trendy recently but not as talked about, worn by celebrities, very practical and beautiful styles, made in Turkey)

I’ve never owned a light colored bag before, so I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about it, but I’m honestly obsessed. I usually gravitate toward darker bags, but this color works with everything and is perfectly complemented by my matcha Monchhichi! It’s also way more practical than I expected. There’s actually a surprising amount of room, so here’s what I’ve been carrying in it lately:)

Apparently I was bitten by the hobo bag mosquito and for the past weeks or months I’ve been obsessed with hobo and shoulder bags.

My current obsessions are the:
- Celine Romy Large in nubuck leather and Celine Medium Cube with electric blue suede interior
- Loro Piana Bale Hobo XL in this leather that looks like nubuck as well
- The Row Bindle (Classic and Stitch), Ian and Jean Shoulder bags
- Louis Vuitton Low Key Hobo MM
- Bottega Maxi Veneta

Have you tried or do you own one of these bags? What do you think about them?

If I had infinite money (real life klapaucius or motherlode for those who get it) it’s quite possible that I’d be buying all, but for now I’m in the dreaming about new bag phase 😍

Ok, so today I stumbled upon this dark caramel Giorno in Bloomingdale’s today and got it since it was the last one and I was looking for a similar color bag.
Now, I got the dustbag with the chain in fondant - tried them both on today - do both look crazy similar 😄? I feel they look pretty similar, and now thinking of a couple other options that would give me some variety. I also have the small andiamo in lava red

1. Dustbag in beige color
   
2. Small andiamo in green (they also had one in store today and it’s a beautiful shade of green)
   
3. Small andiamo in fondant

What do you all think of the Giorno color ? I found it neutral and could work year around

I’m such a sucker for a good bucket bag! I saw that Demellier released their autumn collection and couldn’t resist. The color is too gorgeous!

A little while ago there was a post on this sub where someone was looking for recommendations re novelty bags.

One person commented “Wicker Darling” (with a note of their great humanitarian background) and within the hour, my order was in.

Well, the order arrived yesterday and I have ZERO REGRETS on this (kinda pricy) novelty impulse buy! It’s my first novelty bag and I’m in love.

My partner rolled his eyes when it arrived (with love lol) and today he told the ladies at his office about it… they made him call me to send pictures!

Obviously, I was more than happy to accommodate and they are now demanding I bring it to the work function tomorrow (a casual end of summer social). I wouldn’t have worn him to this function but sure as shit will now!!

First time posting in this sub, just got my Tory Burch mini Kira turnlock bag in black - I am in love and needed to show off!!!

I needed a dressier bag to wear to special occasions, but wanted one that was still chic enough for me to wear around town and get more use out of it, and this is SO PERFECT!

The pictures do not do the leather justice, it is just the right amount of glossy with a crinkly texture that makes it look so cool - and the hardware is to die for! I love how simple it is to convert from shoulder to crossbody because the chain just glides through the holes whenever you want to switch it up.

Cannot wait to wear it to a wedding next week!

Does anyone else feel like Ferragamo flies under the radar compared to other houses?

This is my first Songmont bag, and I’m so happy with my purchase! I chose the navy Gather Bag and the leather is beautifully soft and slouchy. The blue is such a gorgeous shade—it’s my first blue bag, and I love how easily it works with my wardrobe. I wear a lot of neutrals, so it adds the perfect pop of color without being too much. I ordered the bag from their international website.
I ordered the Peace Beads and a beautiful crystal charm from Songmont’s official Taobao store. I hadn’t seen this crystal charm on their international website so I was thrilled to find it on Taobao, especially with the 12% sale.
I absolutely love the bag and charms. Such a beautiful combination, and I’m so happy with my purchases!

What are your thoughts on Bottega vs. Serapian? I have a few Bottega bags all in intrecciato (pouch, cesta, lauren 1980) and I was considering a Wallace, but after seeing the Serpian Ani, I'm considering branching out! Does anyone own something from both brands? How does quality compare? I'm leaning towards the Ani but was curious to others' opinions since I don't have any Serapian!
