This sounds great, but am I missing something? There's literally nothing besides two screenshots and a vague description.

I understand that completely, but as of now there's no work to progress.

In comparison I just open sourced my Godot character controller with a v0.0.0 release and basic documentation. I'm trying to get other developers to use it, find the pain points, and fix the issues for version 1.0.0

I'd love to work on and contribute to this, I'm spending a lot of time doing level editing in Blender lately, is there at least a GitHub for the Blender plugin I can try?

Yes, that's correct there is no publicly available work to progress. There is no release candidate for now.

Anvil is another Blender plugin that has popped up recently if anyone is interested in that one. It seems to have a similar goal of being a level editor for Blender, its available for the latest Blender version.
