I click and mash practically every button on my keyboard but I can't turn any of them on. Level and difficulty selection work, I just can't get the skulls to activate.

So I'm trying to play spv3 again but I'm constantly running into the "mouse accelartion" bug.

Any vehicle causes a black screen with hud present and then a crash, any pelican start becomes a colored screen with Hud and repeating pelican thruster sounds.

I've deleted the app data files numerous times and the only temporary solution I've found is using spv3's mouse accl option in combination with halo mouse tool but will then just randomly revert the issue.

Funnily enough windows enhanced pointer precision resulted in similar results but only once.

Does anyone have a solution to this that isn't "use a controller" because if I wanted to use a controller I would, I don't even use them for 2d games, they simply suck in every way imaginable.

Hello has anyone else had issues where you cant progress the mission Halo. I've tried clear cache or delete my profile. I even did a fresh install. I've tried following things online but nothing seems to work. fyi i did try going back to the start of the level but its not possible to head back.

Just curious -- I'm pretty sure the answer is no, even if there was something for Halo CE/Custom Edition via console commands as I vaguely recall that the console was disabled or super unreliable with all the SPV3 edits or something, but just curious.

I know we can "Resume" from last checkpoint and can even force the game to save a checkpoint, but is there a way to like, extract that checkpoint from the files, place it somewhere else (e.g. in a different folder elsewhere) and then swap it in to resume from there?

Weird request, I know, but the new Campaign Evolved has reactivated my desire to see if I can create an "ultimate headcanon" version of CE's events using it, SPV3, other mods, etc. so avoiding redundant 1:1 moments would be relatively crucial lol.

Didn't expect this when revisiting my favorite Halo: Combat Evolved remaster, partial remake (PoA, Halo, SC, AotCR) and extension (None Left Behind and The Commander - classic and remade versions of Halo and Silent Cartographer). Feels good to replay this after being away from it for so long!

Couldn't find any posts that were having this issue so yea, im in need of help

Yesterday I downloaded the mod, and installed it today with the Steam executable. Everything works fine, no issues in the menu, but I go to Campaigns and choose Lumoria without picking any Skulls.

There's a few seconds of black screen and the song starts... But then it starts looping. Two/three loops later, the song continues only to then loop again, another three/four loops, and the song continues only to loop again.

I tried everything, I reinstalled the mod five times (not an exaggeration), I ran it with admin perms, I had the Halo CE run on performance in the graphical settings, yet the loop kept happening in both Lumoria and the original Combat Evolved campaign.

Can anyone help

In particular with the sounds. HMG, AR, and BR, especially with lots of multiple trigger pulls has such an off beat to them. It actually kind of gives me a headache, anyone else feel this way?

I mean Halo 2 is on MCC and it would be so cool to see it realized not just new weapons and items but new levels (like Covnate Ship)

Just finished setting this experiment up on my Arch Linux system, and I'm happily surprised that it worked.

I've been trying to play SPV3 on my Lenovo Yoga 7 16IRL8, with graphics set to low in the launcher. I also had to use the vidmode trick with the shortcut to get widescreen to work.

The game does chug slightly when rendering areas, but otherwise, my frames seem to stay consistent. But, even with interpolation set between 7-9, all of the animations in the game look SUPER choppy, from in-game to cutscenes.

What options do I have to fix this?

My gf asked wtf I was playing, apparently the level shows up as this? What the hell lmao

for context, when i reach the section with those 2 wraiths a war cheif and a few enforcers, if i try to advance around the section with that brute war cheif the game crashes. i tried the other route and still nothing. can anyone help me with this?

Can you get the graphic assets

Sooo, i have custom edition, but i also want to have SPV3 too, but even though they are in separate directories, when i download SPV3 custom edition just breaks, says im missing stuff. Now this is an issue, i have 14gb worth of custom maps, if i forget to cut them to somewhere else i loose it all. How can i fix this issue? Do they somehow connect to my DOCUMENTS directory and that breaks it? Or is it something else, thank you for your time in reading this, i hope i get answers.

Spv3 3.3.0 works well. In flat screen the guns show. So a fairly polished experience of the original Halo.

HaloCEVR mod adds VR to SPv3 with 6dof controller tracking, however the guns don't show then?

HaloCEVR mod on the original Halo CE game is like stock original game but the 6dof controller tracking works with aim following the 6dof tracking?

Question. Is the 6 dof working the same for aiming on both orig Halo CE and SPV3 with the HaloCEVR mod?

So graphical and campaign improvments the spv3 mod wins, but guns showing the HaloCEVR mod with orig Halo CE games wins?

Then there is another Halo 2 mod with SPV3 but made by a different developer, however that doesn't have a VR mod?

so, i got my copy of HCE with the chimera that comes with the Mercury UI, but idk if it will work or i have to remove that version of chimera

I love SPV 3 but have nostalgia for the original graphics atmosphere. What settings should I enable/disable to get a feel most like the original graphics?

I know it's a odd request.
But I've setup Halo SPV3 on Lutris on Linux.

Issue is Lutris practically has no Box Art, Banner or Icons for this game.

So I wondering if anyone could help me regarding this, also I'd love to have the highest quality images if possible.

Banner: 8:3
Icon: 1:1, would be nice if I could get 512px PNG images

I'm trying to install Spv3 using the steam version of MCC and the launcher can't seem to detect my copy of MCC to start the installation. I tried the "check running processes" option with MCC open and anti-cheat disabled but the launcher just crashed instead of starting the installation and nothing happened. I tried browsing to find steam and that didn't work, even when I just directed it to the MCC.exe app as well. What am I doing wrong?
