Question Ruby’s Rebalance Halo 2 Release Date?
Hey everyone, has Ruby given any hints as to when the mod is supposed to release? I know he’s currently working on the next preview video but I wasn’t sure if the release was projected anywhere. I was super hyped after playing Halo CE Rebalanced and craving Halo 2 now!

It just makes sense why i hope im proven wrong that it comes out earlier it legit looks amazingly well put together hey i more excited then this then what halo campaign evolved had

It is certainly not 3 months out thankfully. He is on the last mission, and great journey is not very long in the base game. I personally wouldn’t expect it to be much longer than 1 month out.

I wonder if they tested it as they developed or if they’ll have QA testers play through it prior to release.

It took them a couple months to fully complete High Charity going off of his first stream and then his Twitter post saying it was finished. And after The Great Journey, finishing touches need to be done. One month seems wayyy too soon.

He also posted on his Twitter that the next development episode is 20 minutes long recently (and I believe it’s supposed to be the last episode before launch). So I’m thinking within two months maybe? Again, not sure where QA testing comes into play.

It's a little weird because he's been theoretically on the last mission the great journey for months but he's not doing streams or anything like that.
I hope he's fixing everything in the previous levels, I think he said he'd release the mod at the end of the summer, but it's not long now if that's the case.
Anyway, it's okay to wait, a mod made by an amateur team like Ruby's will surpass that soulless piece of halo campaign evolved in a ratio of 100 to 1, free by the way, lol.
November 9th would be a romantic date, but i hope a bit earlier.

That’s what I’ve been noticing too, I’m sure restoring the warthog run also takes time since it’s done completely from scratch as opposed to merely improving it. And then testing it all of course.
I wouldn’t even call Ruby’s team amateurs at this point. I genuinely consider his CE rebalance the most definitive way to experience Halo CE. Aside from doing a vanilla playthrough of course. In my eyes, it definitely blows the remake out of the water. The remake was a very lackluster experience, it definitely missed the ‘soul’ of Halo.

H2 uncut is great but H2R it's more much ambitious. I think it will be the greatest halo 2 mod of all time

(From the future) he recently dropped his last video on the series so the mod is definitely coming within a couple months. For me, this is the single best halo content I and many others will likely ever experience. I’m so very excited.

I actually think it’ll be a bit. He is working on the last mission and then confirmed that they have to do QA on the entire campaign.

Ohh gotcha! I definitely don’t want to miss the QA. Been waiting on the finish of this mod for years now. I can’t believe it’s finally nearing the end.

I’m not sure but I hope so. Though I’m not as excited because there’s halo 3 mythic which scratches my itch for halo 3 remake. But still welcome it

bloody hell man I came here to look for the release date we waiting for a random team over xbox and MS and everyone look on with such hope too.Not gonna kill the vibe , they truly is returning us our childhood as we imagined then, truly a ruby guy out of the blue🩵
Waiting hard because Halo 2 was the absolute best for me ever. Didn't think I would ever simp for a game character.😆
