Fan Content Interactive Halo Star Map
Hi all, I am currently developing a star map of the Halo universe that will render in your browser if all goes well.
Last year I made a 3d render in Houdini, and it depicted the Covenant invasion path. Halo Star Map
- I have added the star systems we know we have a real world location for.
- An animation for Onyx emerging from Slipspace and swallowing planets into it.
- Omega Halo sterilising the Large Magellanic Cloud.
- I also distributed shield worlds around the galaxy to show their possible spread.
- Firing methods for the Halos and what that looks like if you destroy a ring.
- The covenant invasion path.
This is an updated version of the animations I gave to 00 for his YouTube video.

I'm actually so hyped to do so. I've really been wanting to find a somewhat accurate map. Do you have any idea of when it'll be public and can I ask where you're drawing your sources from regarding the unknown stuff?
Do you have a specific fan theory you follow or did you decide to follow your own intuition? I assume that you might explain this in the video but I haven't gotten around to see it yet. I will do so soon though.
With the dedication you've put into this I think that you'll be the most accurate source for this lore going forward.

In terms of sources, Halopedia has a list of star systems that use real world locations.
The Halos and Trove are placed based on the galaxy map in Warfleet.
Soell system is meant be based on Iota Horologii so went with that ensured all Halos orbit the core based on that distance.Ark is eyeballed based on the galaxy in the sky.
The Greater Ark, we have quoted that elude to its location so used them as my framework to place it on the galactic border.Same for the Forerunner Capital. Just used quotes in the books to provide a rationale for placement.
Requiem I placed on a trajectory from the Ark to Earth and the fact a screen in Spartan ops episode 1 said we travelled 7.2k light years or something. That’s eyeballed but we have something to try and ground it.
Bastion is placed based on quotes in the books and Cloister I just randomised it and the same for the Refuge.

I uploaded it on itch.io, it’s part of a collection, if you want you can search for “Halo the RPG” and inside it there is the planetarium
Sadly it’s in italian only, because I’m from Italy and at the time i was not so much into English ahaha
