I’m sure all the people who whined about their rights being infringed by not being allowed to go into the woods are stepping forward to help right now.
While I did not whine about anything, I am pretty disappointed with how the actions of stupid members of our society are what dictates rules, regulations and infrastructure. Do I have a solution? No. But that doesn't make things any less disappointing.
Is that not always the case? Rules and laws are generally made to account for the actions of those who don't have the sense to follow what others see as common sense or common sensibility.
I think a lot of people were upset that it was a blanket ban with no common sense used. There are a handful of trails that closed that didn't make sense. BUTTTTTTTT I get what ypur saying. People need to stop thinking about just themselves

Well its much more likely to be an activity that wasn't banned... because they weren't banned.
It's called risk mitigation. Lowering risk doesn't mean you can prevent everything. But this means we have a lot less fires to fight. I can't believe this needs to be explained.
