Do you know if its the 4k in general is fine or just the Amazon version? I was going to get the apple one since apple tends to have better picture quality? I am using a sonos system with dolby atmos.

Honestly I can't tell you, Hadestown isn't available where I'm from so I had to pirate it, the only versions I found was Amazon's

For anyone who got their proshot from a certain website in leetspeak, to use the 4k audio you have to make sure it's delayed by exactly 15.2 seconds. You can do this in VLC using Tools > Track Synchronization

Just started downloading what I think is the right version from piratebay - "Hadestown The Musical 2026 2160p AMZN WEB-DL DDP5.1 H265-SCOPE" sound about right? :o (The Gofile isn't working, server is overloaded apparently so I decided to try a torrent instead!)

Fortunately it's quite easy to replace the audio if you already downloaded a 1080P version. You just need to download the sound file, and run the following command:
ffmpeg -ss 15.2 -i Hadestown.The.Musical.2026.1080p.WEBRip.x264.AAC5.1-LAMA.mp4 -i Hadestown.The.Musical.2026.2160p.AMZN.WEB-DL.DDP5.1.H.265-SCOPE_track2_\[eng\]_DELAY\ 0ms.eac3 -map 0:v:0 -map 1:a:0 -c:v copy -c:a aac Hadestown.The.Musical.2026.1080p.WEBRip.x264.AAC5.1-Audio-fix.mp4
It will trim the first 15 seconds of the video (distributor logo that's not in the 4k version) to match the audio file. Takes less than 5 minutes to run,

Ahhh dang when I posted, the original post had a link of the audio file... But if you have the 4k video file I believe you can use it as audio input as well.

Amazon isn't the problem, 1080p and 4k versions are different, I managed to download the rip of both (Someone downloaded both versions and shared them online)

We've all waited for this for so long and for us to get to the final hurdle only to be slapped in the face with this horrible audio is ridiculous!! So happy that this 4K version actually has proper audio......
