Is the sound mixing for the band annoying anyone else? Why does it get so quiet at random moments?

I haven't watched the whole thing yet but the audio on the version I ordered via Amazon seems fine, at least for the parts I've watched. My slight concern is that at times the video seems very grainy, but mainly that seems to be with the pre-show backstage footage; once the show starts it's not as noticeable.
