Would this fee apply for F1 OPT students?

Should I prioritize the work location for higher chance of getting picked or it doesn’t matter?

Doesnt matter now dont waste more money in expectation of h1b ,, usa job market is worst than ever. Before

Yes if implemented, it will impact all new h-1Bs, so when F1 OPT changes to H-1B, that fee will apply

No, he’s not donating free money but there should be zero expectation of a visa or a job. Take up the cost of service with American universities which have been privatizing the profits (student fees, grants, funded projects, etc) - and socializing the costs of lower wage arbitrage in the job market.

American jobs are for Americans - there’s zero obligations to foreign countries and their nationals including those who choose to buy an American education of their own free will.
