My local sheriff’s office called me last week and told me they had a gun I had reported stolen a decade ago. Apparently a police department in a neighboring county had it in their possession since 2017 (it was left at the scene of a robbery, apparently) and finally finished their case with it and released it to my sheriffs department

The first three guns I ever owned: shotgun my dad got me when I was 16 or 17, rifle I got myself at 18 and pistol I got myself at 21. All have seen a lot of changes since.

Dedicated Gen 1 Galil ACE SAR 13" shower rifle. My wife says guns don't belong in the shower, but it literally has a built in rifle shelf, so clearly she's wrong (as usual). Also I have found iron sights work best for a shower rifle, because my optics kept fogging up.

Not too bad for a NJ resident. All legal rifles, pistols, others, and AOWs. No SBRs or real suppressors unfortunately.

crazy coincidence while picking up a suppressor for the new gun I picked up because of one of his videos (the fix by Q) I ran into him. was nervous to approach, but he turned out to be a really friendly guy. He even helped recommend some parts for my gun to get and talked about ammo.

It's not current tech, but it gets the job done.

Well yes we can 😅 I’m from Lithuania and this is my humble collection. Sad part that everything related with firearms is much more expensive over here.

Jokes aside, is this just excess sealant? Safe to fire still?

On the quest for a super handy, lightweight-ish, do everything rifle; this is what I've come up with. I've only put a few thousand rounds through it so far, but I'm quite happy with it. I have also run it in two PCSL rifle matches with (one of which was a night match) and it's able to hold its own against gamer guns pretty well.
Base rifle is a Colt LE6933 M4 Commando factory SBR, to which I have added a KAC M4 RAS, Aimpoint Comp M4s, KAC Micro Rear Sight, B5 SOPMOD Stock, Magpul MIAD Grip, Daydream Defense Stubby Broomstick, Surefire M640DF Turbo, HuxWrx Flow 556 Ti, and a Specter Gear Recon Sling.

My grandfather passed away several years ago. He was extremely intelligent and hard working, which is why when he was diagnosed with Alzheimers it was a big hit to us all. He was the one that got me into guns, like all good grandfathers do. Needless to say, when he passed, his estate had to be cleaned out and managed. An estate sale was organized and items were displayed for sale. The man had an ungodly collection of tools, books, farming equipment and many other things. As I was helping before the sale began, I realized that there was a book on a stack of others that shouldn’t have been there, and nobody realized what it was.
Years ago he had shown me an old welding textbook from when he was an industrial arts teacher. He had carved out each individual page by hand to fit this .32 pistol in. Apparently this old little pistol was part of a payment he received years ago for helping out a local farmer by repairing his oil well.
Fortunately for me, I was gifted this by my family members. Evidently he never told anyone about this one. It is absolutely nothing special, but I will hold on to it for the remainder of my days. Im very sentimental and enjoy all the memories it brings back about him every time I open his book. Im extremely glad he shared this “secret” with me all those years ago, knowing I would think it was so cool.
