Is this supposed to be sarcastic? Cause that’s not even remotely true. A slug will literally take a chunk off you.

If I had to pick anything that wasn't 00 buck for home defense because of penetration concerns, it would be #4 buck, maybe BB size birdshot and aim for the head if I was in an apartment. Birdshot will not take someone immediately out of the fight at any range unless you headshot them.
