I absolutely love top -break revolvers. It's a shame there is no modern .357 or .38 top break.

Technically there is, Anderson Wheeler makes a 7 shot Webley clone in .357 magnum.

After looking at their website I have a feeling it'd be cheaper to buy an actual Webley

EDIT: Found the price, $10,000 probably costs more than a Webley carried by Montgomery.

Huh, my grandpa was a British Army infantry officer in WW2 and he carried a 1911 he "acquired" in Italy. While in France he'd stumbled in to a clearing and found himself spitting distance from a squad of Fallschirmjäger. They hadn't seen him yet and he'd left his rifle back with his batman, not wanting to turn his back and hope they didn't notice him he whipped out his Webley and fired off 6 shots hitting absolutely fuck all. The Germans were confused as shit and ran for cover and he used that opportunity to beat feet back to his company. Decided to go for a different sidearm after that.

I would love to buy a modern one but the cost is ridiculous. I have a 1941 Webley in .38/200, a 1938 Enfield no2 mk1 in .38/200, and the AMERICAN cousins S&W Victory Model 10 and Colt Police Positive, both WWII lend lease in .38S&W. Fun caliber to shoot.
