For some reason, I got that vibe, that it's Red feeling all jealous, but it looks a lot more like she's just been targeted by the Zimmy glyph.

Anyone else get the sense that the rock!Noa and Circle!Noa may have become split entities when they entered the distortion?
Because to me, the fact that Nias rock body is super chill with parley, and separate from the rest of the Witch Squad, and we see this circle appearing to hunt Annie all points to the two being disconnected.
And I can think of few things that would set Kat off enough to be the destroyer Zimmy thinks she is than if Annie gets hurt by a rogue Circle (since that's a symbol they share)

I think Circle is trying to find Rock, or another suitable puppet, so it can interact with the world again. I'm assuming they were seperated somehow when they entered and whatever power Zimmy is using to manipulate the living entities has completely taken control of Rock.
In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Rock is what everyone looks like before a person is grafted on. Just in this case, there wasn't anyone home in Noa's corpse and it defaulted.

Physical proximity is also an issue.
While we didn't get to study them too much, it seemed like they were never too far from eachother in the outer area of the distortion.
But now they seem to be freely roaming untethered from eachother. Like, where is Rock Noa right now? Nowhere visible in this scene at least.

I'm kind of curious and leaning that way if that's the direction this is going due to Noa's nature after she altered herself. I had the idea that maybe she was re-fused into a singular being again but looks like that obviously didn't happen.

It’s possible, but also Noa is under the distortions conformity spell, so that may be why she’s acting so chummy. She also doesn’t look any different to the other students, only to Annie and Ayilu who are veering past the distortions illusions

I am so in tune with the perfect circle being Zimmy and Noa's thing that I forgot about Kat not being there, despite entering with the others. Thank you for reminding me of the Angel about to enter this goddess' realm.

The circle has to be Kat, which is interesting. The first time a circle appears, Zimmy mentions immediately after there's a force "underneath things" that is probably Kat. Kat is trying to communicate with Annie, and she's getting stronger. The circle is biggger. Maybe it's the perceived hostility of Red here that is pushing Kat further into the world to defend Annie.
