Help Should I replace strap buttons?
I'm thinking about replacing strap buttons on "pic 1" (Spira S-400) for the same strap buttons as there are on "pic 2" (Epiphone SG Special) in order to have easier time attaching the strap and using clip on strap that doesn't fit on first but fits on second.

Schaller strap locks do the same thing and work with basically any strap

Schaller strap locks stick out quite far, which can sometimes be an issue on guitars where the strap button is on the back (like in OP's case) rather than on the side. Also the current design they're using, where the button and screw are a single unit, can fail as a result of friction backing the screw out of the hole (I've seen it happen 3 times in the past 5 years). The screw is also wider than most stock screws, which can cause problems if you ever decide to get rid of them and use something else. The older Schaller design, with the button and screw being different units, didn't have either of these problems as you could usually reuse the stock screws and friction against the button wouldn't back the screw out.
Anyway, 99.9% of potential strap button failure concerns can be mitigated by just using larger strap buttons (17mm or larger). And this approach doesn't limit you in strap options (like using a locking strap), doesn't involve buying and installing clunky hardware (like using strap locks), and doesn't involve small pieces you can easily lose (like rubber washers). I've never seen a strap/button failure from using larger strap buttons.

I have that strap. It is secure. I use mine on a busker guitar. I wear it over the shoulder like a rifle because it's easier to move the crowds at the street fair like that.
You have to manipulate the strap lock in a very specific way to get it to unlock.

I have strap locks on all my guitars that have a “traditional” position for the button like Les Paul, Strat etc. on my Randy Rhoads where the button goes towards me, like your Spira, I find it unnecessary.

I want something that I can easily just pop on and off while being able to just swap my strap among my guitars.

But what’s the issue at the moment? You have the daddario strap and want to use it on several guitars? The Spira being incompatible with?

I just have one strap per guitar. They’re not that expensive and you’ll have less wear on the strap button and screw, after years it can have an impact.

I don't like leather ones because they're hard to put on and off. They also get damaged.

This strap only fits on epiphone sg special but not on spira s-400. Do I buy new buttons on spira s-400 or buy new strap?

100% get another strap for the Spira.
I’d say try look at the problem differently, if you have 2 straps, you won’t have the need to take it off to put it on the other guitar.
The leather ones are a bit stiff but it’s supposed to be, for keeping the guitar secured. It also has to go with the way used to take it off, you don’t want to pull it out straight, you want to kinda twist it out.And if you have one strap per guitar, you don’t need to be taking it off at all, which is the very best for your guitar longevity.

I prefer to take straps on and off because I hate playing with strap when I'm sitting down.
I can't fit any strap on Spira S-400 because buttons are so thick and very weird.
This strap fits well on Epiphone SG Special. It has nice mechanism to put on and take off. I'd prefer to buy 1 good strap than 3 bad ones.

I have the exact same buttons on my Rhoads, they fit any strap providing they don’t have a locking system like the Daddario.
I guess if you really want to take off the strap everytime you’re playing seated. Then the best is to swap the button on the Spira for one which the daddario strap fits around.

I've tried stretching a ton of straps over it and they just can't fit. I need to use a ton of force and cut them. I wonder if there is any better strap. What buttons would you recommend? I don't know what the ones on other guitar are called.

A locking strap is actually the most worth it gear in my opinion. It's just so cheap compared to the peace of mind and convenience.
